Pizza Express in Merton

Quite a small cosy place close to the train station. Great service and did have to make a booking, lovely food as well.

4 of us arrived on a busy Saturday lunchtime needing a very quick lunch. The manager (Pedro?) was extremely polite, accommodating and attentive , as were all the staff.We were quickly seated, served ate and left within 30 minutes. Food was excellent. Top marks and next time we’ll take our time!

Popped in and booked a table for last Friday. Waitress took my name for the booking. When we got there the waitress rembered my name without me having to tell her. Quick and friendly service.🙂

I came here last night with friends to celebrate my birthday. Our server was a very friendly and professional man with a ponytail and sadly I didn’t get his name. He was very attentive and the food and drinks served were fantastic. He knew it was my birthday and I had a candle in my dessert and he dimmed the lights and had the whole restaurant singing Happy Birthday to me. It was just lovely and at the end of our night he asked us all if we had enjoyed our evening. He is an absolute credit to Pizza Express, Wimbledon Broadway.

After a day walking around Greenwich we arrived back at Wimbledon weary and in need of dinner. The younger members of our party wanted pizza so knowing they like Pizza Express we headed there. I always use deals when going to PE but couldn't found any in their site. Also, Meerkat Meals was showing nothing. We were greeted and quickly seated. I asked about deals and was told since an ownership change the deals were gone. So, the first time we paid full price in PE. The experience was fantastic. Friendly, helpful staff and all 6 of our pizzas were perfect. We all left happy and full.
