Booked a table for 5 people on 26/3/22We were seated promptly and drinks and nibbles were ordered. They arrived with the drinks and all was well ..the order was placed for main courses at the same time. After nibbles were finished. The 5 mains took atleast 30.to 40 minutes to arriveA little disappointed but food tasted fantastic..plates were cleared in a timely fashion .Deserts were ordered' then we noticed there was some sort of staff meeting going on in the restaurantOne of the ladies voices was loud to say the least. Was just getting up to say something as the meeting ended. Surely these meetings should take place away from CustomersThought it showed and sounded like a lack of professionalism and courtesy to paying members of the publicWhen parting with nearly 200 pounds for a meal for my sons Birthday I Don't expect to have to listen to a staff meeting and a 40 minute wait for mains ...Will think twice before returning..same as its a beautiful place to eat

Friendly staff, great menu, great secure parking. Food was lovely, the restaurant was a little cold but otherwise perfect. We had calamari and Katie chicken bites, followed by fish and chip and roast chicken dinner. All was very nice and came in a timely manner. Will definitely go back again soon.

Room was good overall (with a few maintenance/upkeep issues). The location and view compensated for some of these issues, as did the helpful staff. Breakfast menu has decent plant based options. We were slightly disappointed with the food in the evening: a very average fish and chips for £16 - several pubs we go to do much better for ~£10.

Very nice rooms, Big and spacious. Bed was very comfy. Staff were brilliant very helpful and intentive. 10/10 breakfast. Only downfall was it can be quiet noisy with it being in the city centre.

Absolutely loved it. Clean room and staff always at hand. Hotel catered for those who don’t drink with non alcoholic drinks of good variety. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Great complementary toiletries, bath robes and towels amongst all expected amenities. Definitely going to stay again. Thank you The Swan Hotel Stafford

Booked their last room which happened to be a family room, £105 for the night. Stayed there on my own. Room was very cold, heating wasn't working and could hear a sound throughout the night somewhat like a tumble dryer. The yellow rubber duck in the shower was a nice touch and although the room faced the high street, the outside noise wasn't loud. They lock the doors of a night time, so if you pop outside. You have to ring a buzzer and wait for staff to let you back in. This wasn't a problem though as he never took long to answer the door.

A really wonderful nook of beauty and excitement just off the main shopping street in Stafford. A really lovely place to go and unwind with either an alcoholic or non alcoholic drink, and of course food! Vast selection of both. You'll experience top notch customer service and the rooms look delightful and reasonably priced too considering where it is 😊 Perfect place for a special occasion.... just hope my boyfriend sees this!! 😉😉😂😂

I just wanted to thank the staff at The Swan Hotel for going the extra mile and making us very welcome when we met for lunch on 16 November. I booked a table for 4 adults and 2 babies. We were allocated a table in the main restaurant which was ideal. Our own private dining room with plenty of space for the mummy's and their babies. The young lady who looked after us was polite and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. Thank you for making our lunch date such a comfortable and relaxed experience.
