Lovely pub with great food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Does a great coffee also if you're working from home and fancy a change of scenery, head here.

Kids table is a super idea. Service from Rob was great! Good food too, v generous portions.A little something missing (might be location/configuration of pub?) that means the atmosphere and ambiance is a little lacking in warmth.Also, unless I missed it, no baby change facilities which isn’t too helpful for a kid friendly pub.

The staff are lovely, food is great and my husky loves to visit!

The staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable of what they had to offer.The venue is modern but cozy and rustic at the same time.A suggestion to order the roast was recommended. It was the best restaurant roast dinner I've ever had.Came with trimmings, beautiful gravy, and a Yorkshire pudding as big as your hand!Staff were attentive, made sure we had all we needed and that everything was to our liking.Highly recommend!

We decided this year (for the first time) to have Christmas Day dinner in the pub. As you can imagine, we were dubious. Always a risk having someone else’s Christmas dinner!Well, we need not have worried at all. Not only was the dinner delicious, Connor and his team were the perfect hosts, all very friendly and welcoming.Thanks to the whole team for their hard work and for making our first family Christmas in two years special and memorable.We would definitely recommend Christmas at The Woodman 🎅🏽

We normally go once every 2 months or so. Normally it's been OK, we used to eat on the week so service was nice. We went last sunday for a roast and was not nice at all. The customer service was almost inextsistent. They made us wait almost 2 hours , they never approached us to say it was delayed, or sorry, or we messed up your order, nothing!!! my husband had to keep going to the bar to ask them, they didn't even returned us money as they should have! or gave us free chips to wait it out, we were with a child who was starving , I was also starting, when the food came in they also got it wrong. I MEAN .. we are no going back for food there again. The roast was very average too. I don't know if they change staff or management but defo not the same when I went there 3 years ago.

Visited today with my sisters whilst shopping in the wedding dress shop next door. Everyone at the Woodman were very hospitable and it made for a great meal. Conor and his team couldn’t have done any more for us and the banter was too class! I highly recommend his home made apple crumble ❤️ What a wee gem of a pub.

My wife, I and our two kids came for lunch today. The roasts were yummy and the kids loved their dinners too. We had a bit of a long wait but Conor sorted it out and gave us free desserts. Excellent service snd great food.

Amazing place! The place is cozy, well decorated and following all social distancing guidelines including offering hand sanitiser to each table, the staff was super attentive and welcoming and on top of that the food was outstanding! The mac & cheese bites with truffle oil are a delight and the homemade brownie was absolutely gorgeous. I can't recommend it enough!

Lovely pub. Nicely redecorated, very clean industrial, which is nice. However, a lack of life and personality, might easily corrected with plants, maybe hanging down from the top set of the bar and the White Columns. A shelf with a selection of board games would be nice too. Other than that great service, very attentive. The food was really good, full of flavours and freshly made. Small menu but worth it.
