I live in Croydon and there are several garden centres nearer to me than Lower Morden Lane. But I am more than happy to drive the longer distance to it. Not only is there always a plentiful selection of plants available but, if needed, there is always a friendly member of staff on hand too, to help me find what I are looking for. It's always a pleasure to go there.

Great variety of plants, soils, and items for your garden. Lots of discounted pots at the back of the centre in superb condition. Layout is easy to navigate and therefore it is easy to find whatever you need. Inside feels more targeted towards miscellaneous gift ideas rather than garden accessories, which is fine and useful for some; just not relevant for me. That said, their sweets/bakery area is 'sweet' (pun intended) and their loaf cakes are lovely! The café isn't bad. Coffee is okay, a little watery. Food is pretty expensive, but not unexpected. Range available isn't bad; paninis are nice and always come with a side salad and crisps. Service always super friendly in our experience, both in the café and at the tills.Love it here at Christmas. :)

Abysmal customer service. To cut a long story short. Wife was sold a shirt in the sale and discovers at home it is torn.We take it back for a exchange or refund and get met with a answer from the clothing department saying it was not like that when it left. This instantly made her feel like she like she had to prove it wasn't her doing. All in all a very unpleasant experience not helped with staff making comments in the background at my comments about a online review that I will be making.CHECK YOUR ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING BECAUSE THEY WON'T REFUND DAMAGED GOOD THEY SELL YOU. This has ruined our evening and love for a once favoured garden centre.Also. As of yet we have not received our refund, nearly two weeks later.

Went for breakfast to our local Blue Diamond garden centre, I was appalled at the pricing of their food. I opted for poached eggs on brown bread and I ordered a side of bacon as an extra. When it came, there was ONE measly rasher of bacon on ONE only of the slices of bread for which I paid £1.50. Come on, I know the cost of living has gone up but by that much? You can still buy a pack of bacon for that amount. The waiter was very apologetic but told us there was nothing he could do. I won’t be having breakfast there again soon!!

Good selection of plants, garden equipment etc, cards and gifts. Friendly and helpful staff. It's a pity there's not more gluten free options in the cafe.

Last week went for breakfast ,they decided to close kitchen as too hot so no breakfast or cooked lunches available. Most irritating as I was with disabled person who only goes out couple of times a week.

Wonderful garden centre. We get indoor and outdoor plants, got some gold fish from the aquatic centre and pet food as well. Great to have all this in one place.
