Al Farooq Kebabish in Newham

I like their grilled wings and doner but fried chicken and wings don't really rate...tastes a bit off

This is the first chicken shop in East London. I been going here for over 30 years now. Still family owned and run by family members. This is the original shop which started the revolution.The chilli sauce is legendary. The chips are fantastic. The donner kebab is a must. The fried chicken just tastes better, don't ask me why. They have loads of food options, plenty of indoor seating. Parking outside or nearby. Open everyday until late night.Salim Patel

Ali gave me the best customer service I could've asked for. Raza prepared a delicisous kebab for me also. I would recommend anyone to go in and try their food.

I went to order my food and i was approached by a man who claims to go by the name of "deekay". he told me if he got to bear hug me for 10 seconds with maximum strength, he would offer me a free meal. In hospital right now with no kebab. Not going again

Really disappointed, Al Farooq's is not what it used to be! Ordered a 'Jumbo' fried donner and chips for £9! When in actual fact it was more a medium (barely a large) fried onions were still raw, with the addition of two raw peppers, it tasted like donner with spicy ketchup chucked on, nothing was adequately cooked together. I've given this place the benefit of the doubt several times, but now it's just annoying. Unappealing miniscule portions with extortionate prices is not how you keep the business afloat guys, definitely will be my last visit!

Fair prices. The 1/4 special burger is brilliant! The wings could do with more flavour.

Honestly food was not good. They used to be the best in the area.the owners are the same it seems. The service was on par with the food unfortunately.

I would always recommend al farooq. They have always kept their food consistent if not better. They are the first halal eatery in the area. I could vouch that their doner is the best in East London
