Asalamoalikum.I am writing this review to share my experience at Al Kareem. I have been here 2 times to enjoy the traditional Pakistani nashta of halwa puri. Hands down these guys make amazing puris, bathooray and halwa. The choley however, are not as amazing as the rest of the things. The first time i was a bit doubtful because i was having halwa puri after so many days and i thought may be my stomach is not used to of digesting this diet but the second time the same thing happened, i found myself having some issues with digesting the choley. Anyway, it was a 4 star experience for me.The halwa is the star of the show with those little chunks of khoya on top and nuts within. Totally awesome.Having 2 good experiences with halwa puri encouraged me to try their mithais as well. I tried thier gulab jamans and rus gullahs, which were too good ! Both were really fresh soft and had the exact right amount of meetha !Definitely a must go place if u like halwa puri and other traditional Pakistani sweets !And yes, their pink tea is also really nice, wish they had normal tea/ doodh patti aswell !Thank you for taking out time to read this. Good luck.

I like their breakfast. It is very tasty, especially the Halwa and the paratha bread. I wish if they add more options to it and to have a less spicy option. Their samosa is so big and tasty. Prices are convenient.

What an amazing breakfast experience! Lahori breakfast and puri/ paturas( thick and soft puri)are made infront of you. In my.oppion Chana recipe can be bit better as it had too much tomatoes. Pure Khuya and multiple sweets and cakes avilable here. Parking wise, evenings and weekend is free.Taste wise, puri can get dry if not eatten freash but patura was soft and full filling.Staff were attentive and down to earth!Mango and sweet Lasis were to die for💖I gave 1 star less because of small space inside the shop, which is not big deal.

Amazing food with super fast service.. Had heard that the place is usually quite busy so went in at around 10am on Saturday. The place is not huge and has got seating space for around 20 people seated close to each other. Once seated, the staff was quick to take the order and came back with the food in a flash. We ordered plate of "Chhole Pathure" along with Kashmiri tea. Chhole Pathure was served with Potato curry and Halwa.. The meal was delicious and so was tea.

Regarding Breakfast; Standard has gone down clearly, Halwa (Desert/ pudding) is too much sugary, Channay (Chick peas curry) not properly boiled, still hard. Service is good and hygiene is Ok.

I love their Burger and Pink Chai. As usual everyone like Halwa Puri so I love it as well 😂I am not happy with customer services they provided some times, as staff got bit angry 😡 or taking too long to give sweet/food. But still with visit every time.Highly Recommended ☺️😉

Great serve and freshly made. Cleaning is bit poor. Staff nice and trained and helpful. Some tip for improvement.Make sure they are using glovesTable cloth using same on all table which is not acceptableGlass for water were not cleaned and need to sterilise along side the spoon 🥄 and folks.Been from West London to east for breakfast.Tea was fantastic.Parking is an issue but not on bank holiday and weekend.Week day hard to get the parking.Overal giving them 4 🌟

The weekend morning breakfast is wow. Called pori-porshion. Though is verry oily bt test is good. I truely recommend it. Bt the khasmeri chai wasn't that level.

Experience of picking up the weekend specials including Halwa Puri :Quite simply ...horrific. If your ok to wait an hour for your food whilst you stand outside then go for it . Alternative option is to order via Uber eats. The staff are rude because by the time they receive enough abuse for the delay from customers they start advising customers to cancel the order and provide the refund. Only after taking your money ofcourse at the beginning and promising you it will take 15 mins.... . They know they have this issue every weekend but they continue to operate this way. It will only take one alternative provider to provide the same type of food and they'll be crushed. On the food front there is no hiding of the fact that the spicing of the curries , the softness of the puris ( albeit being super oily) , and the sweetness of the halwa is probably some of the best Pakistani breakfast I've had in East London. Im not Pakistani so that's saying alot for my appreciation of the food. You get a lot for your money which is £6 per portion for 3 Puris, onion pickle, potato curry , chana and halwa . It can feed two honestly . However there is no hiding of the fact that the indoor restaurant is below standard, not suitable for families , staff and service is one of the worst. Credit to the chef and the flavour connoisseurs but that could change over night if they leave or if someone else does it.Your time is limited if you don't look after the sanity of your customers and you carry on torturing them during the weekends.Friendly advice here .
