Aromas Tandoori Restaurant in Newham

Ordered food online (21:34pm) and food arrived after 1hr 20mins (22:54pm) on a Thursday night.Restaurant confirmed that order had just left when we first called (22.25pm)...restaurant ignored our second call nearly twenty minutes later (22:44pm)...food was delivered thirty minutes after our first call (22.55pm). We only live 10 minutes away!We're not impressed, especially as we're regular customers. The food was not worth the wait, and has gone downhill since we first started ordering nearly one year ago. We won't be ordering again.We have recently discovered Dishoom and the quality of their food is amazing! They are more expensive, however, worth paying for such quality. They will now become our regular curry restaurant, instead of Aroma Tandoori Restaurant.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area. The staff are wonderful and so kind/patient/knowledge & accommodating to your requests for varying spice levels. I've been going to this restaurant for years with my family and my granddad who was in a wheelchair. They always made accomodations for him pre lockdown and after lockdown they gave him a heros welcome back as they said they'd been thinking about him and hoping he was well.The food is delicious and the portion sizes very good. We frequently order one rice between two or three and one naan is enough for two.Will be back again!

Was looking for places to eat and came across Aromas and they turn out much better than expected! Food was really delicious and came along with big portion and we left (2 persons) completely stuffed! The pricing of the dishes are also reasonable and matches the portion of the food. Staff is also attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back again!

I love this place! Everything is so delicious, especially the Nepalese dishes. Love the array of interesting vegetarian options.

Absolute best restaurant to go to, we love the food, the staff and chef are so polite to speak to. Restaurant is very clean and best service is provided. We are regular customers and go once a week as we love the food. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Must have a try! Stunning!

First time at this Nepalese/Indian restaurant. Staff was very professional and polite, and the food was marvellous, very tasty, yummy, and it's worth the money you pay. Will return soon

Have had a takeaway from here many times after it was first recommended to me after giving birth, spending a week in hospital and craving a curry, that was two years ago!Have tried a few different dishes and always have been impressed, it comes across that they use good quality ingredients. The onion bhajis are the best!

I have been ordering from Aromas since I moved to the area from Kathmandu six years ago. I was amazed to find a Nepali restaurant on my doorstep - and really impressed by the food and the selection.Over the past year they’ve adapted to the Covid-19 situation and started doing work from home lunches which are really tasty and well priced.I recommend aromas for takeaway and eating in, they are a great asset to the area.

We are so lucky to have Aromas nearby. Have been going since they first opened and have been delighted to see that however much they have developed, the Nepalese style of the food remains; love the quality and the family. Thank you.

Decided to try out Aromas on the basis of being nearby and the good reviews and wow super happy we did!Loved the menu, this place has got your standard curry house fare plus some interesting Nepalese dishes. Everything we ordered was really well cooked, super tasty with fantastic flavours. I loved the momos, really recommend trying them.Plenty of delicious looking meat on the menu but also a superb selection of veggie dishes (the veggie keema was amazing).Service was friendly too. Overall, top meal and will be back.
