Big Moe's Diner in Newham

Nice and fresh food, came here for breakfast. Would recommend but not sure if I'd personally return as the service charge is sneakily put on your bill. It should be optional to tip not mandatory especially when people are just doing their job. I work for the NHS and don't get a tip whenever I resuscitate someone.

Its food can be great, and the atmosphere can be vibrant, but not this time round. It's a shame that this place has to close down, honestly. Maybe it was just a bad day but the food was just a bit lackluster. People were wonderful, so that was the best part.

Very dissatisfied with my evening.No waiter service to take your order, you need to go to the desk to place your order. It’s like a take away with seating area,I request the starters arrives before the mains, what happens all arrive together. When I complained, nothingMy sons steak was called, was tasteless. Other food was averageMixed the desert order up completely, worked to our advantage.Cold air constantly blowing above your head, meaning food going cold very quickly.12% service charge, what for??Overall very disappointed, will not go again. Poor service, not value for money, poos atmosphere.

Visited for Iftar, the mix starters; we all really enjoyed and very good option for 3-4 people. For mains we ordered ribs which was really good however the kitchen forgot the onion rings with the ribs. We also ordered half BBQ chicken but instead we got Peri chicken and it was over cooked, the leg meat was so dry almost like wood texture. The restaurant was full of customers. The floor service was very good. I believe our bbq chicken went to the wrong table as one customer was complaining he didn’t order BBQ chicken unfortunately the receipt does mention which flavour you ordered.The milk shake was decent as well as their ice cream.I probably will visit again but definitely avoid their chicken meals.

First time having breakfast at Big Moe’s. Was served very quickly and food arrived promptly. The portion size is huge! We ordered the big one which includes mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, hash brown, 2 turkey rashers, 2 sausages, 2 eggs and toast. I knocked one star off as the sausages lacked flavour. The pancakes are really soft and sweet.

This place is fantastic! I really enjoyed my visit here. Free parking outside, a classic american car outside in keeping with the decor and style. A halal american dinner with ample seating, great service and tasty food.You have to try the cheesy chips, burgers and milkshakes here. There are so many options, you have to visit again and again.Salim Patel

Been here a few times before and had pleasant experiences, food was decent. But can't say the same anymore.The ordering system having been taken online so you order on the website and then pay at the till seemed a little counterproductive. Probably the reason why their prices seem a little inflated than before as well.Compulsory service charge placed even before any service is given (apart from shown a table).The food was received quite quickly to be fair but the chips seemed double-fried, nachos a little over heated (toasted) and barbecue wings were just a little bland.The Bacon Beef burger was just crumbly with the brioche bun not toasted enough to stay intact.Milkshakes were also a little runnier than expected.The rest of the food (chicken and waffle meal and kids beef burger meal) were nothing to be impressed about.Quite disappointed to be honest in their quality now, probably due to new competition round the corner. Doubt we'll be visiting again any time soon. Could get better food for the price paid, elsewhere.

Really impressed with Big Moe's and this place is really underrated. Yesterday tried it for a first time myself and everything was perfect. From the moment we walked it, waiters was really nice and guide us to the seats. Only one thing that's unusual is that you have to make an order and pay at the till, than they bring the food when it's ready and it's ready quite quick, less than 10min for wings or burgers. Most important is that buffalo wings was spot on, couldn't ask for anything better, burger was nicely presented and delicious. Really well prepared foods plus loads of different options. Unfortunately was too full to try big variety desserts, definitely coming back.

Really friendly, attentive customer service and fantastic Kinder Bueno milkshake. The milkshake was so nice I'm craving it. However food isn't great. The burger meat tasted old and chips not so nice. Nice decor though

Love this place! Loved the experience. Nice staff in their 50s get up 🤩 I really wanted to act out a scene from pulp fiction 😆 maybe next time 😍 and the cinema next door is ace too if you like that sort of thing
