St John at Hackney is a Grade II* listed Anglican Church in the heart of the London Borough of Hackney with a large capacity of around 2,000. It was built in 1792 to replace Hackney's medieval parish church, of which St Augustine's Tower remains, at the edge of its churchyard.

If i could give less than 1 star I would.Placed an order on the phone and confirmed the price. Arrived 30mins later to collect my order, it was not ready, some rude lady ( I'm assuming was the owner ) started arguing with me about what I ordered. Then told me a higher price than what was mentioned on the phone. Perhaps she has having a bad day but absolutely poor attitude and terrible customer service. It used to be my favourite shop but I would recommend others nearby offering better customer service, same price and great taste

Had the jollof rice, was the best I’ve ever had. The food is 10/10, hygiene is 10/10, could go on for days. Auntie Nana’s is so friendly, staff were kind and lovely. Would definitely recommend to anyone interesting in trying Ghanaian food, best Ghanaian food in East London

Such lovely lovely people. The plantains are delicious and juicy, the spinach and rice with fish was dyn-O-mite! Will definitely come back when I’m in the area. Very unassuming spot and basic decor, but don’t let the simplicity fool you, was a convivial atmosphere and really nice family-run spot.

Look no further! Such juicy and tasty plantains and the jollof is good too. A major plus was the fast service - food was ready within 15 mins. Enjoy!

100% Recommended. If you are craving an authentic African cuisine, Auntie Nana’s is definitely top tier in the area. I’m happy I found this hidden gem, me and my partner cannot get enough of the food! The service was excellent too. This will be my third time ordering from the restaurant and haven’t been disappointed not once. If you go, you will not regret ooo.

I don’t usually review Take-away restaurants, but I feel strongly about Auntie Mama’s that I have to write a review.Starting from the food portions are huge enough for two people, restaurant very clean & the customer service is always great.No delays in regards to receiving you’re food would definitely recommend this restaurant if your looking for quality Ghanaian cuisine, this is definitely the place to be and not to be missed!!

BAD!!! Been here to buy food on 5 occasions and they keep using OLD meat in the stew that has a bad taste. I’m pretty sure they are mixing the old stew with the new stew hoping that we wouldn’t notice. To be honest this place was good until last year July then it really went down hill😡😡😡😡
