Fox Connaught in Newham

All ales and IPAs were not available which was a shame as a good selection. Food was OK. Location is handy for local hotels. Shows the football on multiple average sized screens. Not the cleanest of places either.

Nice looking pub. Very spacious with free parking. Good food but service is average at best. Asked for Long Island Iced Tea only to hear that bartender cannot be asked to make such drink during cold weather.

Don't come expecting a classic British pub experience in terms of setting or ambience but it does a decent enough job with a good range of drinks and beers on tap. Food is available but not rehat I would term as gastropub choice with a pretty standard menu or burgers, fish and chips, curry etc. Customers are mainly from local hotels and people attending events at Excel.

Friendly staff. There was a little confusion with my order but they were very busy and it was quite loud so couldn't really blame them and it was fixed easy enough. Food was nice.

Great hotel for how cheap it was. Nice staff, good food, lovely clean rooms. We will book there again.

Went here last night as a change from our usual pub, wont be going back, orderedthe hunters chicken,it was so overcooked, you could have soled your shoes with it.But the worst thing was, ordered spiced rum and coke and on checking receipt at home, discovered that we had been charged for a pint of diet Pepsi each time, completely unacceptable considering it was less than a half pint glass !!!

Dirty smelly carpet in bathroom, especially around the toilet, as you would imagine having a fitted carpet around a toilet??? Door handle hanging off at emergency exit, 65 steps up to my room, damp feet every time I had to use the toilet, absolutely filthy room, over priced food in the restaurant, no breakfast!!, I will upload pictures and videos to prove all my points, I put towels on the floor in the bathroom and when I left I lifted them to find then yellow stained... this is not a hotel, it is a hostel

Food is great, really good selection, not super pricey and very tasty, staff seemed friendly and it was nice and quiet even when quite busy

Called in for a few drinks while staying nearby.Good selection of beers plenty of outdoor seating and the indoor space is well laid out and clean.The staff are friendly the only downside is they only accept card payments at the moment otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable experience

Large indoors and outdoors seating areas. The outdoor areas have umbrellas and all tables are numbered. Drinks are ordered via an App and card. Some initial difficulty with App and some products out of stock. Enjoyable enough.
