Friends Sushi in Newham

A very nice place in Greenwich, about 15 minutes walk from the touristy part, but it was worth it. It's a small place with only a few tables inside but the food was nice, the service was friendly and the toilets were clean.I had hoped to grab Japanese beer inside, but they don't serve any alcohol, which was fine with me.

As an Asian, I confirm this place. Its really hard to find real sushi in London, but I'm surprised that this place actually have "sushi". Mostly other places are just serving cold rice with row fish slice. Only down side is the freshness occasionally not good enough. Usually its fresh but maybe 2 out of 10 times not really fresh. But I do like this place.

Very good food! I definitely recommend eating here. We ate chicken gyoza, miso soup, curry chicken, dragon roll and salmon avocado maki and everything was fantastic and delicious. Freshly made when we ordered. The prices are also reasonable and affordable. Go and eat here! :)

The place is not very fancy but the food is one of the best I ever had. Also good prices.

This is our go to takeaway place for Sushi in terms of food quality, price and the consistency 👌 Always ordered the Mixed Set £30 on delivery platforms sometimes we can get a discount for ordering the 3rd time for example (I left a review previously with a less quality pic 📸 but I don't see it anymore)

Fantastic quality food from chef Noel (thanks to Sunny too). Great recommendations for what to try with plenty for those who want to be more adventurous or more traditional. Definitely worth a visit or 8!

Just wow. So lucky to have this in the local area. I tried a take away salmon poke bowl, the volcano rolls and the spicy tuna rolls - all excellent. The presentation, mix and balance of ingredients, freshness and taste was perfection. Best poke bowl in London I’ve had. Also the owner and the service was TOP. I can’t wait to try more things from the menu. Please support this lovely local business

Since I moved to the other side of the river I’ve been ordering from several restaurants with good reviews and I ended up always very disappointed. I’m so happy with today’s order! Can’t wait to try the whole menu! What a great discovery! 🙌🏼☺️🎉

The best sushi in the area and better than most in central London. The family and I love this place and the quality is top.

The owner is a former Sticks n Sushi chef and is the friendliest guy. This place has seriously delicious sushi and hot dishes and I was surprised at how reasonable the prices are. Will only be ordering our sushi from here in future!EDIT: every time we've been back we've discovered something even more delicious than the last visit! The Sushi Hand Roll is a regular favourite though. Unbelievable!
