Just at the station in Newham

What a wonderful place in a unique setting! Lovely staff (family ran it seemed) and delicious, generously portioned food. Two of us came late on a Saturday night without booking and not only got a table but also wonderful service and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back once I move permanently to the area.

On Saturday Feb 19th, my wife Lorraine and I went to Just at the Station for our Valentines meal. Another wonderful meal, the hosts were as kind, polite and thoughtful, as they had been in the times we had been there before.Just a fantastic evening.Looking forward to going back soon.Kind regards.Edward.

Absolutely lovely. Food was delicious and staff were so lovely felt like we wanted there.

We two were the only patrons at lunch on Friday last. As a result we experienced singular and immediate attention. The food: pizza, chips & side salad was cooked/prepared from scratch, served hot and with a smile. It was delicious. We'll come again, and soon.

Visited for the first time recently and had a fantastic evening. Lovely atmosphere and excellent food - probably the best calamari I’ve ever had ANYWHERE and pizza was delicious. Would recommend - we’ll definitely be back!!

YOU HAVE GOT TO EAT HERE. Sensational little place. Highly recommend.I've driven past here loads of times though the years and I've wanted to check it since it was refurbished.A lovely little restaurant. Very nicely decorated with the perfect ambiance. Quaint. Comfortable. Friendly.They have a small menu, which I love. Several small plate options which serve as tapas style dishes or starters. A few pasta dishes and salads, and a nice list of pizzas.We ordered 6 of the smaller plates. Garlic dough balls, calamari, prawn pil pil, creamy garlic mushrooms, spicy potatoes and meatballs.Meatballs were amazing. Very light and soft in the mouth, full in flavour. Lovely rich tomatoes sauce over the top. Creamy garlic mushrooms nice. Dough balls were better than what Pizza Express serve (but I could bathe in the Pizza Express garlic butter). Calamari was nice, but not one of the best I've eaten. Potatoes were nice, soft, slightly charred giving a nice smokey flavour. The pil pil was very nice. Sweet prawns in a rich tomatoes sauce with handfuls of garlic and a bit of chilli. But its not a true pil pil.After these, we ordered 2 sensational desserts. Tiramisu and caramel chocolate brownie. Tiramisu was light as a cloud, but could have done with a bit more of the soaked sponge. It was really nice, but I was always searching for the sponge and booze to cut through the abundance of cream.The brownie was sweet, rich and heavenly. Crunchy parts, but mostly soft and gooey. For me, the brownie served in Mr Tanaka's in Hertford is really something special, but I would say that the brownie here is better. However, needs a scoop of vanilla icecream or a splash of cream to let down how rich it is.We will definitely come back. A lovely place and great atmosphere. I'd give the food and overall 4 out of 5, as most of it was only warm as it was served. The restaurant as whole gets a 5. It must be a family run place and it is just lovely.

A unique place in an old train station building, where the trains still woosh past frequently. Lovely welcoming host who runs this place with the chef, her husband. English menu with an international touch, includes a chef’s specials list with some nice things on there. Nice and help full staff who recommended for us a good wine. The meal was fine; well prepared. I found the chicken Milanese combined with the pasta a combination with I didn’t quite get. But that could just be me.Pricing was reasonable.Will be back!
