The food is decent but the ambiance is lacking and can be interpreted as shabby. The food is very expensive in my opinion and along with the missing ambiance takes the one star away.We visited here after a few years and couldn’t spot much improvements. Unlikely to be coming back anytime soon.

Great food sold by weight which unless you are the rain man of ordering you will never work out how much you need.Get the Pulau, it's great best item on the menu! For meat a 1/2 kg is good for two people.

One of the best in Romford Road. Taste was amazing. Service was just not up to the standard but still they managed very good. Highly Recommended

Worst food I ever had, meat korahi smelt like raw meat and chicken tikka the same. The chef excuse was this how we cook it, in fat, how disgusting.Didn't eat 4 items costing £25, and didn't receive a penny back in compensation.Bad customer service.Avoid at all costs.

Not as good as it use to be. I’ve been here several times though . In its early years of launch no one could beat their karahi, chapli kabab etc but recently when I visited couple of days back , I was extremely disappointed to see the quality and taste of the food.I like this restaurant and I want them to do good , but they really need to focus on the quality and taste once again before they lose their hard earned loyal customers.

The food we got here wasn't amazing but was made with decent quality ingredients. The seekh kebab was nicely spiced but had an overriding flavour of coriander throughout that overwhelmed everything else. Chicken seekh had a slimy texture because the meat was ground too fine. Lamb chops were OK, nothing special. There's better food to be had in the area, especially at the prices we paid.

Delicious tender lamb namak mandi karahi, (not much gravy, lamb dryish curry cooked with salt and pepper) very tasty afghan pulao with raisins and fried sweet carrots. Pleasant interior, lovely staff and complimentary kawa sweet green tea with fragrant cardamom. Charsi tikka, lamb cubes also delicious. Fresh tasty naan.
