Small fish and chips paid 9.50 would have expected a few more chips than I got

I've been going this chippy since 1979 as I grew up in street.,but I moved away in 99.When I visit the manor, I always use it.The gaff as never let me down. A bit of oi oi savaloy and chips and I'm double kushti! They smash it

This place never disappoints me, my Friday treat for the family. Excellent customer service, clean, the women that works there is lovely & makes cod fish as you wait, very large portions. I say large fish & chips can feed two people.

First time ordering here via UberEats. Must say I was really dissapointed with the chips portion size. I ordered a medium cod and chips and a single portion of chips. I assumed they would be large portions as nowhere it was stated small portion. Felt the portions were not value for money at all. On a positive note, the cod was on point. No faults there.Thank you for your response. Will do when in the area.

Ordered fish and chips and was really impressed by the food! The fish and batter was really light and the chips were yummy. Highly recommended and certainly my must go to fish and chip shop from now on

I have doubts there selling none halal meet has they clam all there products are halal however there Pakka Pies are deffo not halal i asked for butter sausage they said its beef but that don't taste like beef at all an also there chips was not cooked properly i requested to see there halal certificate which they could not provide.TRADING STANDARDS HAS BEEN INFORMED AND WILL BE MAKING A VISIT TO THEM SHORTLY.

Lots of chips on a regular size portion (enough for two) Fish cooked to order, so takes a good 10 mins but at least its fresh and not been sitting in the warmer for half the day.

Very tasty fish and chips . Didn’t feel too oily . Tasted fresh and large portion ! Love the packaging. Arrived in a box instead of rolled in a paper .

Ordered a 1/4 pounder and asked for cucumber and tomato, the lady says they charge extra for that, which I never heard before. Then she tries to tell me most places charge extra for that... Pathetic, I've lived my whole life in London and never heard that before. Obviously I can pay for that but it's not the point, it's the principal and I'm pretty confident I've been to more chip shops than you lady. Chips were fresh but the service put me off.To the owner :I can't see a reply button but I'm replying to your comment. First of all don't ask me what my principal is as I'm not a free loader , and secondly don't act like I was rude. You were not even there.. You can't even take criticism, you cannot expect 5 stars all the time so you need to stop expecting it....I'm a grown man, obviously I can pay for my extras, but really that's dumb, a burger comes standard with salad.

I loved their fish and chips. When the owner is there it is still nice BUT over the last few months the quality and size went downhill. Today was the last straw. Fish small not cooked, chips half cooked and the lady behind counter RUDE. Will need to find new chippi.
