Pret a Manger in Newham

Standard Pret menu, not kept clean and looks lifeless because of it

1 star for the Team Leader Inita. I heard her on the shop floor being rude with other colleagues and sometimes she is getting rude with the customers.

They’ve got the best coffee 😋

I would give it a higher rating if only I could have reached a sandwich from my wheelchair. Unfortunately the placement of these crates prevented me from gaining access to the food from my wheelchair.Sure, I could have asked someone to help me, but that's not how access for all is supposed to work.NOT happy about this.

I’m giving this feedback on behalf of my girlfriend who does not have a google-account.Terrible quality of the food - the avocados in the sandwich was already black, the whole sandwich had zero taste. She loves Pret a manger and eats there a lot (in the US) ... but obviously this restaurant does not meet the standards.

Friendly staff - quick serve, perfect for a takeaway before a flight. The only feedback I would have is for some people Vegetarian means not having any animal origin products and that includes Eggs. Many of their products are marked as Veggie but list Egg as one of their ingredients.

Baguette with egg wasn’t fresh, stale and dry. Taste was awful so had to exchange for another one which was much better. Despite baguette customer service was good .

Excellent Latte I prefer it to any other, plenty of seats upstairs I usually prefer to sit on the high chairs very comfortable! Yesterday I had great service from a female staff member who was near the table areas cleaning in the morning who wished me good morning and even had a small chat with me which was pleasant. The worst highlight yesterday which leaves me not be returning to Pret ever again is the ignorance what occurs within the team members, the incident occured during early Lunch whereby one of the female staff told one staff member to smile and not to look as, if they have a problem with the team members and she also mentioned she looked highly anxious and she should just relax and emphasising the team members were friendly people which was beyond unproffesional to even speak like this infront of queuing up customers, I would definitely make a complaint to the Manager at City Airport if bullying within the workplace is a regular thing as I was very shocked, however the same staff member who was targeted on provided great conversation unlike the rest of the staff members apart from the Japanese staff member. But I still do love Pret ;)

I spend quite a bit of time at airports traveling for work and they can be "glum impersonal" placesJust grabbed a coffee and sandwich at Pret City Airport and the guy that serves me was genuinely nice, happy and engaged.It's the little things like that which reminds us all that we're all people and small gestures make the day so much better.

I like this spot. I always look forward to grabbing breakfast here after I land, before I dash off for meetings etc. The almond croissant I normally have is really quite good, and the coffee is better than most places. An infinitely better than starbucks!Staff are always pleasant, and they do some interesting pots of weird stuff, like 3 boiled egss in a pot, tapioca pudding in a pot, chia seed dessert thing. . . in a pot.
