Rice and Spice in Newham

I don’t know if their under new management but they have changed so much since the last time I went, which was couple months ago. The picture seen is £9.85 and if I wanted a bigger one it was £10.95 which ain’t listed on their menu. I went today which is 26th June 2022, and didn’t get 10% discount and when I mentioned it he said they got a new menu and 10% discount don’t apply. When I asked where’s the new menu he said it’s coming next week which I know is a lie the new menu meant to apply to me when u get it so he meant to go by the old one since the new one hasn’t arrived. Wish the old people was their who had good customer service skills.

Food was nice. However, let down by the portion size. I paid £15 for 5 pieces of meat in the curry and a small box of rice. Do better!

First time using it was ok. My prawn korma was so watery not much taste my naan bread was burnt

Absolutely amazing food 😍I ordered the chicken Goan it's the best dish I've ever ordered from a Indian takeaway it's packed with flavour and spices.The portions are definitely worth the price.My mum has dietary requirements and they always go above and beyond for her when we order from here.

I have had the worst experience with this company and their customer service (Jane). Although some issues outside of their control arised, there has been ZERO support or solutions from their side. And issues which they are responsible for, again, ZERO solution.Out of 3 orders I only received 1, and 5 out of the 10 boxes I had to throw away because the food was disgusting. This is not even something that I am holding against them, it’s probably just me who didn’t like the food, but the customer service has been an enormous deal breaker and unimaginably horrible.A shame for the 2 young gentlemen who create such a good image of RNS on socials, but the reality is that their teems needs some serious training.

After a 12 hour long haul flight myself and my family of five, returned home to Hackney, only to find nothing to cook in the house !! We googled local takeaways and found, Rice and Spice and we placed an order.I was greeted very professionally and courteously and he walked me through the ordering process effortlessly, the food was amazing, which arrived within the stated time of 45 minutes and also was priced very reasonably.This company is highly recommended for their quality of food, their pricing and their delivery were all spot-on.10 out of 10 and thumbs keep up the good work.Hope to place another order soon.

I have had their food a couple of times and I have to say the food is excellent quality. I ordered the chicken biriyani once and I asked them to customise the spice level to my liking and they did it extremely well unlike lots of places I have been to. Their service is great. They do like to make their customers happy, the food is fresh and the cooking quality is very good. What else do you need from a takeaway.

Definitely my go to Indian. Been eating here for years. Biryani is my favourite here. Would recommended anyone to try it.

Ordered for the first time. Felt like the food had just been reheated. Bhindi was soggy....although tasty at first, it very quickly cooled down and then all tasted a bit bland. An Indian restaurant is about the variety of flavours, the little sauces, dips....this was all missing. Wouldn't order again. Sorry it's harsh but I'm a foodie.
