Sawmill in Newham

I have walked past several times. The only reason I’d never visited is because I’m trying to eat healthy, and the multitude of cakes in the window made me walk past each time. We popped in for a quick coffee, and then decided to have a few bites. The staff were warm and friendly we picked our own large table. The cafe was very nice and every table was cleaned to a high standard! Our server lady was great while we deliberated she made suggestions and was funny. Between us we ordered a vegan salad bowl, breakfast sandwich and chips. The food was pleasant however I’m sad my chips were so crunchy I really wanted them to be nice as I liked the cafe. All the other things were beautifully presented and tasted good as advised by the others. Our drinks coconut latte, and immune boosters (Carrot, Apple and Ginger) were very tasty! I will definitely return but will try something else…no chips for me my teeth are delicate! Thankful that my nephew persuaded me to walk past the cakes and try the Sawmill out! One day I will return to have cake though! Forgot to take a pic of the outside so returned and took a pic later that night!

Really tasty food! They can’t accommodate changes to food at weekends unfortunately so that was a bit disappointing as we wanted to swap fried for scrambled eggs. Lots of little ones the Saturday morning we visited - not a problem for us but worth knowing when visiting. Staff were sometimes friendly but a bit grumpy when we got in their way - which will happen when the chairs and tables are so close. Apart from this, really recommend! Especially the chai latte.

Welcoming local cafe with friendly staff. Pretty busy when i went and there were no free tables so I just had a takeaway coffee, which was good and a fair price for London. I intend to go back when it might be less busy

The best thing about this place is the quality fresh food and desserts. They have quite a few vegetarian options and a few vegan too. I haven't had the breakfast meals yet but there is a good choice and also nice healthy kids meal options.Its a great little cafe that is very well decorated to modern standards, and to be honest has improved its customer service since my last visit, and is a deserving 5 star cafe.

Trendy Chic Cafe in Stratford. I think this cafe has the charisma and professional service to meet most peoples expectations. They serve breakfast and vegan options included, wonderful sweet pastries and delicious variety of cakes. The food is carefully placed by the large window so onlookers passing by get to see the treats inside. This is how they got me in through the door. Since then I've been visiting for around 4 years but oddly haven't reviewed it.Cappuccino or Lattes they got the hot drinks and fruit juices everything reasonably priced. But your not just paying for the food, if you intend in hanging round, take a seat and immerse yourself is this beautiful designed cafe, its cosy and not so bright, but lit up with clever lighting which gives it a chic trendy vibe.I would reccomend this cafe, im sure you'll enjoy it just as much as I do. Its also 10 minute walk from Stratford High Street and quieter end of Stratford.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and everything in-between. Coffee is perfect. Lovely relaxed vibe, wonderful staff make this a friendly, local place to meet friends or take the family. Food was delicious too. Lots of happy diners, says it all, really.

Randomly stumbled whilst killing time near Westfield. Was really pretty and had a decent menu, staff were nice and for the money was very good value

Really cool looking Café. This place is a true gem in the entire area, which otherwise looks a bit grubby.Good and fresh looking savoury sandwiches and sweet cakes. The staff were very friendly and served well to facilitate the high demand on a busy Saturday.There’s rustic cute decor and fairy light trees across the place to give it a quirky look.I had a mocha which was well made. Deffo a place visiting for brunch if you’re in the area.

A friendly welcome is always a good sign. I had a tasty breakfast at a reasonable price. Service was quick. I'd like to return to try the dinner menu.
