Thames Barrier Park in Newham

The park is great, lots of green spaces and places to seat and enjoy the great view of Thames river and Thames Barrier. The cafe and visitor centre is always closed, it would be great to have a coffee while walking around. When is it going to open? :(

Such a nice big park clean and tidy a nice view of the river Thames and the Thames barrier. Go and vist here especially in the summer

Cant wait to see the space in summer. Amazing hedges. Lovely relaxing view and space of Thames barrier.

Interesting eastbound journey on the DLR. Clever wave like topiary garden/walk thru to the river. Disappointed to be denied access to riverside walkway due to construction work. We couldn't find the café - perhaps this is also closed at the moment? Signposts lacking from the DLR. The children had fun at the play park and we enjoyed seeing the barriers from a distance.

A beautiful green space and wonderful place to look at the Thames Barrier which in itself is pretty awesome. And then there is the river, something so relaxing watching the Thames wide and fast flowing here. A very pleasant way to while away a sunny afternoon.

A nice place to go with kids. There is a very nice garden area too but at the moment there's a lot of work going on and most of the park is closed to the public, there's a cafe in the park that is also bow closed. There's very limited parking nearby especially if you go during the day. The nearest DLR station is Pontoon Docks immediately opposite the park. There's lots of new developments nearby which obscure the entrance to the park. There's a children's play area and views of the river and the Thames Barrier. Would get at least 4 stars if the park and cafe were open.

Such an amazing place to visit of its a nice day. Walk along the river bank and enjoy the sunshine (if you are lucky) Children play is very nice addition. Hope they will open the cafe again.

A stunningly beautiful park. It's very peaceful, calm and serene. The flowers and green space is meticulously maintained. A perfect place for couples, families or small, and large groups. It feels almost hidden and well shielded from the city of London. Unplugged and timelessnes.

Beautifully laid out public park right next to The Thames Barrier, as the name suggests. Peaceful, quiet, well away from the nearby main roads. Plenty of bench seats to allow people to sit for a while and enjoy the scenery. I've added two photos of the Thames Barrier which were taken from the North bank walkway at the Eastern end of the park.
