Online the room looks lovely, in reality it’s very shabby. Lights were infuriating as they kept switching off and then the switches didn’t work unless you reset them all the the tv, very frustrating. The bathroom light is a pull cord this was filthy and stained so I didn’t really want to even touch it. The room was so hot and the air con didn’t seem to do anything other than make a noise, asked reception for a fan but they had none, it was snowing on and off all day so not weather related heat. The windows whilst keeping the heat trapped in the room, let in so much outside noise we didn’t get much sleep at all. Dressing gowns/ slippers missing but by the time I had realised I was past caring and ready to go home or go and stay somewhere else, normally I will stay in a room until check out chilling out but we left as soon as we were up and dressed as the heat was unbearable. How this hotel is a 4 star is beyond me. Having stayed in many lovely hotels in London for less money I would recommend people try elsewhere. Staff were very friendly, the bed was ok and it seemed reasonably clean but that’s about it.

Not worth the price. Customer experience low. Old and small rooms. The only good thing to mention about the hotel is the very friendly staff making and serving breakfast!

Worst customer service experience of a hotel ever!Check in was denied because my business partner has made the reservation of the hotel. We had to wait from noon until the late evening (his arrival to London), until we were allowed to check in.We were told, the hotel could not give the room away in case the person holding the reservation would claim the room for himself. There is no reason behind this policy but the person in "charge" was unable to comprehend.1. The room was not payed upfront.2. The hotel had more rooms in exactly the same category and price available (even on affiliate booking sites). At our attempted check-in, we have provided all the reservation details inkl. Emails forwarded from the business partner of this reservation. Now, given the unlikely event, the person holding the reservation would indeed claim the room for himself, the hotel could have just provided him an alternative room instead (as mentioned, the hotel had rooms of the same category available and was far from booked out!)

I think this hotel is overpriced. Good things is location, the staff are friendly, the complimentary items are good and the bed is ok. However, room is pretty small and number of issues with the room, hairdryer nearly blew, carpet all frayed round the rooms, bulb in light by bed wasn't there, shower was weak and showerhead not cleaned properly as water shoots in wrong directions. The breakfast is pretty good nice pastries and selection but again some issues - fruit juice is from concentrate and not fresh and no newspapers provided. I would not stay here again.

Booked a standard double room via their website and asked to paid on check in. Was given room G3 which is on level 0. The bathroom was a disabled access setup with no bath tub. The bed mattress was very firm. The room is situated directly next the road so the car noise was constant throughout the night. When the curtains are open there is absolutely no privacy from people walking past directly outside the window or from vehicles driving past. I have added photos which can be seen on the 'exterior' photos posted by visitors section on google and the 'bathroom' photos posted by visitors section on google.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and tidy, good variety of food and drinks for breakfast which was in turn very delicious. The shower was below my expectations though, the head was mounted on the ceiling, sprinkling all over, not great if you don't want to get your hair wet.

Amazing room and staff. Would have to recommend very highly as it was 100% better than a hotel I was staying in not far away.

Rooms are small, our window was broken and wide open (on 3rd floor) rooms are tidy and beds are comfy. Staff could be more helpful - asked for extra milk and wasn't allowed any!

First of all thank you to all the staff at The Westbridge Hotel. From the point of check-in on New Year's eve everyone has been ever so polite & helpful. From our balcony we saw 2022 with a great fireworks throughout the skyline of East London and beyond. We came to our room, which was tidy & clean, with rose petals on the bed.Having interacted with staff has been interesting.Breakfast in the restaurant has been wonderful. Buffet style with staff being attentive throughout. Having had breakfast on 3 mornings, we have had a nice spot to sit.Enjoyed looking at the design of the ceiling with items hanging off 👍🏼.The lounge has small & large sofas. Where hot drinks can be ordered.I have had the space to teach my wife to play chess. The hotel is friendly to all.The hotel boasts an intimate courtyard and whilst the is on the main road, one is not disturbed from the traffic. We still have not checked out, managed to extend our check-out time, though not wanting to leave.Highly recommend room 503.We have had a lovely experience.A great weekend it has been. Full of memories & experiences. Thanks to the Owner, manager & all the staff who have shown us an awesome start to 2022.All the best to Westbridge Hotel. We hope to stay here again.(those thinking where to stay, this hotel is a 10 walk from Stratford / Westfield. Forget about getting a train, there is a bus stop 1 minute walk to the bus stop. Get the 25 bus - top floor - go towards the City of London. See the bustling of London. Alternatively cross the road & head towards Ilford. If you choose to walk then head towards the Olympic Village or walk towards the city, plenty to see on route as well as places to eat.The hotel caters for halal dietary requirements. Which has been absolutely helpful.)Westbridge hotel thank you.Room 503.Mr & Mrs U. D.

Great location in Stratford. Walking distance from the Tube station and Westfield SC. I had a "Deluxe" Double Balcony Room. The balcony was a great size. The room was clean, bed comfy with plenty of pillows, soft towels. Ah few noticeable issues that I took a Star off for - no fridge in the room (my stay was 4 days so it would have been nice), large shower head that had issues with flow of water, and the Wifi didn't work in the room. The room itself is small BUT the balcony makes up for it. Great TV channel options. I'll definitely be back to stay. The staff were super friendly too. :))
