Waterfront Brasserie in Newham

I've visited this place many times during week days, weekends, early and late and I've always enjoyed the food, drinks and staff. I can say that each time the staff have greeted me and my guests with a pleasant greeting and have delivered delicious food without fail.They have a wonderful shisha bar outside with a great view of the Thames and the inside is well decorated with a quality interior design. I would definitely recommend this for a date or a superb bite to eat and/or drink.Recent Edit:As you can see I loved this place years ago with my original review above, unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant any longer. We ordered a £45 sirloin steak and were extremely disappointed by the massive amount of fat (see photos). I'd say there was about 25-30% of the steak was inedible fat. The steak was also over-cooked and was given to us as medium instead of medium rare (this is a small gripe but for the price you pay, I would like to think this should be cooked to your liking). We did mention the amount of fat to the waitress but no actions were taken. On a positive side, the atmosphere is still great, the waitresses were attentive and the other food items we ordered were nice. I can't recommend you visit this place unless you're looking to spend £45 on a steak that is served not to your liking.

Beautiful restaurant. Very friendly staff. Food was delicious. Views were amazing. Would definitely come back and would also definitely recommend. Slightly disappointed they didn’t have lychee martinis as this was one of the main reasons I came here.

I had a feast with my friends there. Food was quite good! Great atmosphere to hang out with people . Elly was super friendly and welcoming. Thanks Elly! it was a decent restaurant. I would recommend it!

A bit pricy on the food. Ordered fish and chips but no seasoning on the meal. it has a good view and nice interior design. But as a restaurant, I think the owner should improve the quality of food

The quality of food and taste was just amazing. Tanim did a fantastic job with our order. He was soo welcoming, and he did a great job serving us. That’s how customer service should be.

Marvellous service. We will definitely come back. Rahim was attentive, kind and patient with me when I couldn't decide on what to order. He had great expertise when it comes to wines; his recommendations were flawless! Thank you for the fantastic experience!

What a lovely restaurant. Outdoor seating with overheat heaters. Well covered from potential rain. Lovely warm atmosphere and nice ambience. The staff are friendly and smiley (despite being rushed off their feet constantly)- I was impressed at their professionalism.The menu is extensive. Decent starters snd sides, 2 types of steaks available, burgers, sushi variations and 5 different salads as well as deserts. The food is excellent. The portions are generous. The drinks are decent (pricey). The service is excellent.I had called in advance to check if I could be seated for dinner as it was almost 9pm. Confirmed a table would be available.I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. It was a lovely experience. I would definitely come back here. Thank you to the staff who made the dinner such a nice experience.

I have been invited to a late lunch early dinner on the 5th of September for a birthday celebration. We I have been served and entertained by Absal/Afsal and he delivered a great service for us, 10/10 to be exact. The food and scenery was amazing. I will highly recommend it to my family and friends.

The location is really good, the menu was broad but I am man of simple taste and had steak and chips. It was perfectly cooked and one of the team member (Tanim) was very helpful and professional. While we were waiting he suggested few things to try on our next visit.
