Ariana Restaurant in Redbridge

I really don’t want to have to leave a negative review as we’re frequent takeaway customers and love the food from Ariana’s but it was not only unacceptably late tonight but the restaurant staff on the phone lied about it being on the way when it wasn’t, were generally rude, and then hung up on another phone call request for compensation based on it taking 1h40 to arrive.I understand they were busy and the staff said as much but when I rang to ask where it was after an hour, I was told it was on its way. It’s a 10 minute journey so when it hadn’t arrived after 20 minutes I called back and was told it was still on its way and traffic was bad and that I needed to understand how stressed she was and how busy the restaurant was. According to Google maps traffic was fine. And the just eat app wasn’t showing as being on its way either. 10 mins later, the app updated to say the food was on its way so I called to ask for money back for the delay. This was when the person told me it had been in transit the whole time then hung up on me. The driver arrived ten minutes later and said there was no traffic, the restaurant was just busy.I really didn’t appreciate being lied to about where the food was and being told a sob story. They don’t know the customer’s circumstances and not having accurate info meant we were just stuck waiting, couldn’t cancel the order, couldn’t order an alternative. My friend missed her train as we were stuck waiting so long. All that needed to happen with my first phone call was to admit they were busy and had forgotten the order then to have been given an opportunity to cancel and perhaps offered some compensation. Then I wouldn’t be leaving this review. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time food has been insanely late from this restaurant so just being busy one night isn’t a good excuse. If they can’t cope, they need more staff and they certainly need customer service training. I won’t be ordering from Ariana’s again and this is a huge shame as we love the food.

I used to love Ariana branches but honestly me and my family waited near enough an hour for food that was forgotten/ wrong orders or not fulfilled and cold :/. Understandably everyone was really annoyed and I would rate this a lot lower but staff were not disrespectful just forgetful or bad organisation that day. Friendly staff that try hard I guess but I won’t be revisiting

Waste of time. Not afghani at all. No taste and what a ripoffffff.Rubbish customer service. Very expensive. No value for money.Takes hours to serve and non responsive staff. No good food. WILL NEVER GO AHAINDONT GO AND WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Ordered food from here and honestly so disappointed with the service. They took THREE HOURS to deliver the food and then sent it to the wrong address. When the driver was called they did not answer, when the restaurant was called they began to argue saying the fault was mine andthe lady was not apologetic she was rude to me instead. I've never been treated this way by someone whose business I am supporting. Very very upset with this as I was a loyal customer but I will never return after today . DON'T GO HERE

Went to this restaurant and the food was great. Really good flavour chicken and lamb. Salad is nice too. What I loved the most is the ice cream. It's my new favourite flavour. Can't wait to go back!

Horrible distasteful food. First we ordered 1 kg of lamb karahi but was served less than half kilo. When we raised this issue, the waitress did not respond. Secondly they don't know to cook karahi or Qabuli Palau. It's not Karahi, rather simple lamb curry and just throwing lots of raisin and boiled carrot and one boiled lamb shank does not make it Qabuli Palau. Worse food...big rip off

Flavourful and hearty persian food, perfect persian sauces, with plentiful portions, and a warm ethnic ambiance. Love it!

Good food and a friendly owner. We went there when it was very busy and the staff were struggling a bit but the food arrived fairly quickly. The grilled food was really tasty but the sauce on the side was a single mint sauce which wasn’t that great. However I will be visiting again.

Went for the 50% off offer. Food tasted great (mixed grill). Only negative point would be the 45min wait which was expected due to how busy there are. Overall, would recommend.

I have eaten at Ariana on a few occasions. My favourite food on their menu are the grills. I had postive feedback about the food when I took my friends there. The service is generally fine however, can be prone to errors with larger numbers of people and take time to rectify. Overall, it is my favourite Afgan restaurant in B&D and has a lovely atmosphere and decor. I would recommend.
