Crown and Crooked Billet Public House in Redbridge

Even though I’m local this was a first for me just a pop in for a drink and bit of food. Ended up having a wonderful quick taster of the pub with a lovely atmosphere, and Heather made it that much more special. She’s a credit to the company and other waitresses around should take a leaf out of her book!

After we enjoyed our first visit to this pub some months ago we decided to go there for lunch today as an early Fathers Day treat. One of the highlights of our earlier visit was a large bowl of delicious tomato and basil soup so it was a big disappointment this time to be served quite the smallest bowl of soup I have ever had (and it was almost cold) - it was almost as if they were running out! This apart, the quality of the main courses was as good as previously - let's just hope this was a one-off "blip"!

Amazing venue, service & food!! We had our baby shower here over the weekend and every single guest commented how tasty the food was. The staff were so attentive and the service was great. Highly recommend and will most definitely be back.

Often come here but today I brought my daughter with me(and my sister). We had the most warm welcome from Kerry and immediately she made my daughter smile and laugh, she was amazing not only with my child but with us asking about different drinks so just for that 5*

What an amazing gem of a pub!! Well trained professional staff which can't be said about lots of other pubs turned into anodyne boxes. Very friendly bar staff was served by Jack. Will definitely visit again!

1/ Welcome was warm and friendly.2/ Table was uncluttered and clean.3/ Service was quick and efficient4/ Food was of good quality, plentiful and well presented.5/ We ordered from the 2 course menu but were charged from the 3 course one.Which is why 4 stars in place of 5.So as not to embarrass our guest I did not mention this at the time.To be fair I feel that the bill would have been changed had I spoke up. Then again it would have been nice not to have been put in that position in the first place.Because of 1-4 we will be happy to return again and again to this excellent establishment.I highly recommend it.

Came here to meet my friend and their dogs along with my two dogs. All 4 dogs had food from the doggy menu and I had scampi and chips which was lovely.What stood out most was just how welcoming and friendly Heather the lady who served us was. She made us all feel so welcome and clearly dotes on dogs.I’ll be back!

Table of 5 for my Mum's birthday today. The waitress was spot on, didn't use a pad, memorised every order and asked questions for choices of sides etc very attentive. The food was superb and the seating & restaurant area very cosy. Would recommend. Only ever been here briefly before for a drink yrs ago. Will be back for more. 👍

Visited for an early dinner and few drinks.The pub has recently undergone a complete refurb inside and outside but thankfully have retained the pub character. It's a welcoming friendly environment and the staff are really lovely, the customer table service is very good and spot on. The food menu has something for everyone we had the burger and the fish followed by deserts all very good and well priced . We were impressed and will definitely return soon

Freshly refurbished and decorated, the pub is spacious and airy even though it was busy with a wedding party - we didn't feel crowded and had a table in a quiet corner. The food was excellent and came out quickly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. There is ample parking. What more could you want? I'll definitely visit again when we have a bit more time.
