Harman Turkish Restaurant in Redbridge

All in all quite good. Meze dishes are really nice. The mixed platter was okay. I've had better. Lamb chops was chewy, too much fat and grizzle. Other stuff on it was nice. The lady who greeted and served us (blond hair) was excellent throughout. However, there was another one (dark hair) who was a little quick to take our plates and uneaten food without asking if we have finished. Wouldn't like to meet her on a dark night.

So delicious food..Specially lacci and salad.

Incredibly poor service and mediocre food- avoid.Me and a few friends from work have dropped into this restaurant quite a few times over the last years; the service was always pleasant and the food nice. Well…something has definitely changed. It looks like there’s new management and I was incredibly shocked by their treatment of a polite group of adults who’d come in for a meal. The manager who came to wait on us was really rude and dismissive, sneering at my friend who was trying to pronounce the name of a dish right. They brought over the wrong dish twice, didn’t bring drinks over (forcing us to try and order them again) and failed to bring one dish we ordered at all. When the bill came they tried to charge us for 8 drinks instead of 4, and charge us for the dish they failed to bring out- when we explained it never arrived they insisted it had and we were lying! It took 3 goes of patient explaining and being shouted at rudely by them in Turkish before they would knock the wrong items off the bill. I was genuinely shocked as I’ve never encountered this level of service in a restaurant before. Honestly, I would completely avoid this place. I know I’ll never be going back.

The food is tasty compared to the other Turkish restaurants that are close by but the service needs improving.The way the waiter was serving us and slamming things, It felt as if I was in a Greek restaurant at times and not Turkish.With better service this place would be 5 stars. Parking available but good luck finding a spot as there are a lot of other restaurants close by.

I visited this restaurant with my friends for a nice meal on a Friday evening. I was ignored for a little while when I went in here... then eventually someone greeted me, but I was disappointed by this time already. Then the service did improve as the evening went on because they saw we were quite a few people. The starters and mains were absolutely delicious, well prepared and presented!! But the desserts were not nice, my kunefe was ever so oily and just not great taste, one of the worst I ever had. So it is an OK experience as a woman, but I would not come here again without male company.

Saw this place had a 4 * rating overall so thought I'd give it a try...someone else mentioned this in a previous review but the bread didn't taste as nice as what u normally get in a Turkish place...also the doner meat...maybe it's jus there own way that they do it I don't know...anyways the ribs/chicken I was mostly disappointed with due to the size/portion...what could've been eh 😐 service was quick/friendly...nice looking place inside...

Went here for a meal with some friends and after ordering our food, and waiting for it to arrive, we ate some of the bread at the start.A friend noticed a rubbery feeling inside the bread and after opening the slice up it felt unnatural. After looking through another slice we found the same texture but shaped like the finger tip of a disposable glove. A waiter told us it was packaging.The manager arrived and was extremely confrontational. Never apologised a single time and was rude the entire time. Essentially told us to leave or be quiet and wait for our meal. I’ve been here before and the food has been good but I was shocked by the service and rudeness of the manager.The food may be good but they have stopped caring about the service.

I love Turkish food, especially ribs. This restaurant has got the home cooked authentic taste! Very good prices, and the hospitality was amazing. I'll be back!

Waited an hour for disgusting food. The chicken is not fresh and not seasoned, definitely at least 1 week old as it was very slimy and bland.Turkish people are known for their sauce and bread but somehow they messed up! Everything is either 1 week old stale or not freshly made, either way, I was extremely disappointed and I could not stomach the food.I ordered 4 chicken donner for me and my family with bulgur and salad included. The bulgur is definitely not authentic bulgur, whatever they gave me it was not bulgur which made me even more upset as I love bulgur but again they somehow messed up even that.The only thing that was fresh was the salad which they gave me a HUMONGOUS batch of, somehow the salad was a better main than the chicken donner.Whatever review that you see with more than 4 stars is an absolute lie, the owner was so rude that he said "We were going to make an exception if you were a returning customer but because you're new we're not gonna give you a refund. We all tried the chicken and nothing is wrong with it."Worst Turkish restaurant experience ever1/5 NEVER AGAIN!
