Luigi's in Redbridge

Quite a dated place however, service was good. Food was decent - nothing to shout out about to be honest. Rack of lamb was on the specials board however, the waiter said it was lamb cutlets and not rack of lamb which was fine. I asked for pink and my friend asked for medium to well done.Both arrived charred. Mine not so overcooked but, not what I was expecting to be frank. The starter was a tad bit dry (mozarella) no olive oil dressing but, overall wasn't too bad at all. Desserts were good as well.

Not great to be honest.I can speak up for vegetarian menu ( coz I am vegetarian)Respect the restaurant is well established and have long presence in local area.Let me come to the point.Supermarket Garlic bread takes more merit than what we get here. I didn't expect such low standard from a ethnic Italian restaurant.Similarly, Bruchetta is of low standard.We ordered ribbon pasta with white sauce and mushrooms. The ribbon were stuck together whilst cooking and it turned up as 4 ribbon pastas bundled up resulting uncooked pasta in-between. I separated them and ate the rest.Non alcoholic drinks menu is just off the shelf products like Coke, J2O, Lemonade is also from 2 litre cans. There is nothing passionately done to prove its Italian.Desserts:Seems they brought from wholesalers specialised in supplying to restaurants. I didn't go and watch in kitchen but my best guess is Black forest getao and tiramisu are readymade stuff not made by restaurant chefs.I found this restaurant is more pricey to what actually they deliver.

food was great, big portions however service was not.

Had a 3 course meal here. The starters were nice. The main was brilliant. The desserts very well balanced. They have good wine. The prices are decent. Serve a good variety of meals and staff are friendly.

We only popped in for a very quick bite, but it was a very nice meal and we enjoy it very much. The Sea bass was lovey and the lamb chops were just as nice. Very well looked after. Would thoroughly recommend.

Went for a dinner, had frito misto for starter which was very nice, my sister had mushroom pasta and I had the seafood spaghetti. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavours of both, can't fault either dish. Service was friendly and quick, lovely meal out.

The place is very homey, food was delicious, the service was super friendly and the desserts were excellent, their drinks menu looks small but if you ask about the options of any products, there are more than the ones listed there. I will be back many times

I totally enjoyed my evening here! Lovely Italian food and wine, attentive staff and fairy quick service. They also have outside little area and therefore you can choose where are you going to dine. This is family restaurant and you can feel it in the atmosphere of this place. Ideal place for a little celebration, romantic date or just an evening meal however it's good to book a table in advance because later it can get busy. I would really recommend this restaurant.

Where shall I start.Well, we wanted to use the "eat out" scheme to support the local businesses and came across with this Italian restaurant. After the reviews that I seen on eat in / takeaway I was a bit concerned but hey we only live once.Though it would be a good idea that instead of only me and my book I take my parents out therefore called and booked the table.Arrived, got seated no issues, all looked good started to feel better.. then we got the food....It looked OK, nothing special.. if you go out just because you seen some pictures then you wrong... food is the main aim..Spaghetti carbonara, pasta arabiata, pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce (sorry don't know the exact name) and a margarita pizza to share.. what can go wrong??Carbonara =since when we putting chilli 🌶 in the dish chef?Arabiata = now I love spice food, I really do.. but are we serious with the scoville level of your dish??Meatball: now here some real concern.. tomato sauce.. well it was watery, lumps of tomatoes (can) in the bottom of the bowl covered with Spaghetti (nothing to do with home made or special) and couple of dried out balls.. please...Margarita pizza: now I really want to know if you eating your ice cream with chilli powder / flake...All in all, the heat level, taste of the dishes not really my cup of tea and for people who actually enjoy italian I do have one suggestion: COOK THESE DISHES AT HOME or find a better restaurant.Not only the food but the service could do with major improvements but let's talk about their way of service another day.I tried to help out but won't be trying again to help this establishment.
