I love it here. The food is always so tasty and even when the restaurant is full you still always receive good service and the the food remains a brilliant standard. Never had a bad meal here in 20 years of dining.

Giving one Star as the food was somewhat good. But not sure about overall as I heard other customers complaining about their chicken being cold and the waitress said it got cold while she was bringing it from kitchen to the table because of wind. Seriously?I agree with other people who wrote about the service of this place. Yes the both waiters were seem to be happy to serve the Chinese people.Never again I'm visiting this place.

STONE COLD DUCK! Straight out the fridge. I have a Mandarin speaking friend who I usually get to order for me, as you're predictably guaranteed friendly' quality, however I took the risk of going myself this evening. Big mistake as shocking quality all round. When i got home i opened up a pack of freezing cold duck, and over cooked pork. Shambles!. The guy answering the phone simply asked if i was local i could pop back.and borrow thier microwave. Absolute joke, I wont be returning with or without my chinise friend.

Food is really good especially the great selection of dim sum. Portion sizes are however on the smaller side considering the price. The young female waitress was very friendly but all other staff were miserable and not welcoming at all. They were in a rush to get us out by 9 even though I had called to find out the closing time beforehand.

Extremely high quality mandarin food. I visited this restaurant lots due to yummy food. Strongly recommended Peking duck and pancakes and lobster noodles. Dim Sum is nice as well. These dishes needs skill and Mandarin Palace made a good job.

Eating more traditional Chinese food meant travelling up to China Town in central, now there's no need. Mandarin Palace offers some amazing authentic Chinese food. Haven't tried the dim sum yet, but plan to. Highly recommend the Thai style chicken feet!

Restaurant setting is nice with Covid precautions in place, parking is questionable since there is space at the rear but requires a permit. Food and general service was all round good and pricing of the dishes was fair. Main downside was the bill, they messed it up twice before getting it right third time, so make sure to check before paying! Other than that a nice family restaurant.

Great local Chinese restaurant serving authentic Cantonese cuisine.Good variety of high quality dim sum dishes for that dumpling fix! The buns are excellent and served warm for maximum pillowy goodness.Dinner is also a treat. Catering to the “western Chinese” palate as well as traditional Chinese dishes from different regions. Their Cantonese dishes are stand out and the Chinese bbq here is a must try! I think they even supply supermarkets and other restaurants which don’t have the expertise to execute this. Omg the Peking duck 🤤Another local gem literally at the exit of Gants Hill station and a favourite with locals (half their customers are Chinese which says it all). Highly recommended!

Lunch at the Mandarin Palace was a delightful experience. The ambiance is comfortable and the surrounding beautiful. The food was delicious, service impeccable and staff were friendly. It is a bit pricey but I will definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back again.

Lovely decor and food is good too. We have been eating here (dine in and take away) since over 10 yrs now and have some favourites but overall food is good. Decor is nice and authentic.
