Food is soo delicious. Very good service. I recommend this place 100% And we will definitely keep going back to eat too.

With a beautiful sun, I wanted to have a caffe outside and see if I could make a reservation for 6. The server did not accept, it does not matter. But there are ways to say no smile and super rude waiter .Im not return there anymore

The worst restaurant I have even been to . Extremely rude . Food was very mediocre and when we asked for a small bowl of cheese to be left on our table we were told no as it is too expensive. It should really close .. places like this should not be around

Good freshly cooked dishes. Busy but staff attentive. Good value

Food was absolutely amazing. Really generous portions and very flavourful. We had prawns, Bruschetta and squid for starters and porcini risotto main. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and service was fast but relaxed.

Quality food and generous size. I had cod in white wine tomato sauce with potato. The cod was devine. Fresh, quality fish, cooked just right. The sauce was delicious. My husband had sirloin steak. He was not totally happy as he said it had charcoal taste due to it being grilled. Not to his taste but someone else might like it. The restaurant was happy to offer a pan fried replacement. Thank you. Service was friendly and quick. We will surely come back.

Most amazing Italian food!! We are so pleased we came across this restaurant on our walk down the high street! The place feels warm and very inviting and the staff are so friendly and provide an amazing service! I think we just found out new favourite Italian! We over ordered, and staff were more than happy for us to take away our leftovers while the husband insisted on seeing the dessert menu! So many items to choose from, I can't wait to come back 😁

This is my third or fourth visit.It’s the “local” Italian and my review is very much based with that in mind. Piccolo has a family friendly and inviting atmosphere. I managed to get a walk-in on this occasion but I highly recommend making a reservation, it’s a very small place.They have a very extensive menu - some people may find this off putting (tourist-trap like) but don’t be. Each time I have dined here, the food has been exceptional. It is fresh, it is well seasoned and it is real Italian food. I was even brave enough to bring my friend, who was visiting from Northern Italy (Torento) and she thoroughly enjoyed it.On this occasion we ordered calamari, prawns on avocado, garlic bread and the seafood linguine - we polished off every last bit and momentarily thought of ordering more on the back of how delicious it was, alas the stomachs were not able for it.The service, far from fine dining or even attentive but it’s just as you would expect - friendly and accommodating.Niggles - tables are very closely packed, but I get they want to squeeze in as many patrons as they can given it’s size. The hot water had an awful residue - which was simply fobbed off on the back of a new coffee machine.I do look forwards to my next visit.

Lovely local Italian restaurant. Service to food very good

Stumbled upon this local gem after a walk in Wanstead Park. Plenty of tables outside for a nice spring evening dinner. Friendly service, generous portions and food was delicious. The Bruschetta was so fresh, I could have ordered more! My Linguine Marinara with white sauce was great with a huge serving of mussels! Oh and the baked cheesecake was the perfect way to end our meal!
