Great pub for a quiet drink or to meet with friends. Staff are welcoming and have a wide range of lagers and craft beers on tap. Amazing atmosphere during sporting events whether it being football, rugby or boxing. Would highly recommend to anyone who's new to the area.

Been here around 8 months ago in the summer with some friends and lives it. This Sunday I wanted a good roast dinner so me and my boyfriend went all the way here for our dinner having had previously a really good Sunday roast in other greene king pub. I got a bit disappointed with the food. The beef was really dry on the edges and the patatos... well one of the patatos was so big that was still raw on the inside 😔The service was great and people very attentive and friendly but was really disappointed by the food.

Chea pints and great quiz night on Tuesday, just be sure to order food before 9pm!

·

Nice local pub by the station showing the football. Bar staff were great and good selection of beers and standard fare pub grub

As this pub was the first pub I had a drink in, more deckaiads than I care to rember. It has changed little. It still serves a good pint!

Went to meet some friends was very busy because of England rugby and cricket on at same time. But abke to get drinks ok.

Have been here before and found the staff a little rude. Last weekend there seemed to be new management and the bar staff were all very friendly and helpful, helping to create a nice atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and a decent place to watch sport both inside and in the garden.

I've been to this place twice now. Once in August and then in October. I find the staff to be absolutely fantastic. They have gone out of their way both times to make the experience positive despite covid restrictions. I had lunch in my last visit and it was £9 for wrap, chips and drink. The app doesn't show all deals but the staff let me know about it. They do not have a car park, but there are car parks nearby and you can park on the street for £2.80 for up to 3 hours. The only thing that is missing is adequate outdoor heating, then I think this place would become a regular meeting point for my friends and I.

Great atmosphere and lovely staff. The location is excellent, right off the Woodford Green line, and is a great place to stop in for a drink. Their fish and chips are to die for-stopped there more than once for it myself!
