Rosso Restaurant in Redbridge

Great traditional style Italian restaurant exactly what we wanted. Generous portion sizes, authentic cocktails and a specials menu. Weather was warm so we sat in the outdoor covered area - will definitely be back, could not fault it - service exceptional too !!

We ordered three main dishes. Food was average at best. Best dish was the pizza. The carbonara was cooked just right (not too soft) however it tasted bland. I had to add parmesan and salt. This is something I never usually do at a restaurant (as I believe the dish should be as the chef intended) but without it, it was terrible. No flavour and incredibly oily (this wouldn't be such a problem but the food was so bland, you're left with oily pasta). Staff weren't bad, price was reasonable and pizza wasn't horrific (hence the three stars). If it was any worse, I'd have given it a 2. I wouldn't eat here again, I can cook better myself.

One of the beat restaurant I went to. So much choice on the menu. The food comes out pipping hot.

A great Italian restaurant, with an extensive menu., with lovely, attentive staff.Three of our family had lunch there last Wednesday..All our food , was delicious and freshly cooked.I chose one from the special board menus.Plaice with all the trimmings.Wow , a good portion, of fresh fish cooked to perfection..My other two guests had freshly cooked , different Italian meals.They were both highly impressed with their meals.Very enjoyable food., at a reasonable price for the delicious home cooked food..

A lovely, authentic Italian restaurant.The gentleman waiter in particular was very happy, chatty, and helpful.I would say that the particular waitress we had could have done with being slightly more attentive (pouring water into glasses for diners etc), and being a little more welcoming, warm, and friendly.Other than that, wondeful food! Very fresh, and a great, large menu to choose from. Will definitely be back!

This is a tricky one. The restaurant's OK. The food was OK. The service was OK. Someone else paid so I can't comment about the value. I've lived a stone's throw from the restaurant ever since it opened God knows when and this was my first visit. I believe it has a loyal local following but for me it's a cookie cutter Italian restaurant from about 20 years ago. I've no inclination to go back, not because there's anything wrong, but because I can't think of a reason why I'd want to.

Rosso does great Italian food as well as delicious British classic dishes, like Sunday roast and shepherds pie. Highly recommend it.

We had a lovely meal here on the 13th Jan. The service was good the food was excellent. It was overly expensive. All food home made which makes a difference. Great ambiance and staff very attentive. It was very clean as I'm very fussy 👍
