Brilliant local cafe. Ideal for coffee of brunch! Staff are lovely.

Working local!Fantastic food. Cool surroundings and chilled music. I’ve eaten here four days in a row, 4 different meal all brilliant.

£12 for a small average breakfast is extortionate considering most restaurants in central London are cheaper. Had a meal yesterday the food was luke warm and the order came incorrectly. Think this place benefits from lack of competition.

Staff are friendly and service was quick. Had the Huevos a la flamenca which came with sourdough bread. Very tasty!

·

The food is delicious. The price is little bit high with small size of portion.

Absolutely 5 star - best breakfasts in London, in my opinion. Lovely, friendly service and delicious cakes too!

Salway Cookhouse, located just off the busyness of South Woodford high street is a friendly and inviting cafe. We were seated fairly promptly however, we did have to wait a while for our order to be taken and subsequently for our drinks and food to be served. While elements of the English breakfast were delicious, the sourdough bread was cold and the herbs mixed into the beans were unpleasant to taste. The shakshuka, although presented beautifully, did not smell so pleasant and was fairly watery. However, the slow cooked pork cheek burger was in fact delicious - for that alone I would revisit.

A local gem! South Woodford best kept secret - a lovely brunch spot with delicious food and great atmosphere. We will be back! This time we tried poached eggs on avocado toast (they were amazing) and steak baguette (one of the best hot sandwiches we have had in London). For sides we had frites and halloumi - both delicious (honestly, a simple side dish but worth mentioning given how good it was!)

Definitely recommend this place for breakfast. The food was delicious.Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. If you want a builders breakfast then this is not the place to go. Everything about the food and service is the quality.A little pricey but well worth the visit.Cannot wait until they open in the evenings.
