Worst food quality day by day, super chilli in all the chutneys, Aloo bonda means vegetable bonda here, worst service. After bill, they said there is no chef to prepare, take something else, when asked for refund, their manager is away and can't refund. What a pathetic experience.

I have been in this restaurant many times and all the staff was good. But this day on 04/03/2022 at 20:30, the restaurant was too busy and I was with my wife and I asked table for 2 the manager asked me to wait. While standing I found a table which is completely free and it had only 2 seats. I asked the manager whether I can be seated there. The reply was terrible, he was very rude and told me in an arrogant manner to wait and people are waiting.I know people are waiting but there were 2 groups apart from us. One was of 3 people and the other one of 8. So both of them cannot be seated in a 2 seat table. Then he sent one group to a table when it was free and then came to me and pointed the same table I asked for and I replied him that this is the thing I asked you before and you said no. He didn’t reply me rather than giving me a rude look.If a manager of a restaurant is like this then how much sufferings will be the staff having. Management should review and act against this. The manager’s name is Mr. JothishThe outcome of the food ordered was dosa with metal string as shown in attached photo.Reply to your answer:I do agree he provided me a place. I raised this to tell him to have a polite attitude while talking to customer as he is a front of house person he should know the basics of customer service to decorate the manager position.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also very friendly. They know what they are doing and what they are talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some authentic Indian dishes and for their prices its 100 percent worth it.

Food was nice and the waitresses polite and efficient but it's 4 stars because they were trying to clear our table while we were still eating and the bill to be paid while we had not yet finished eating or asked for the bill. Because of this we felt rushed. When it's busy I can understand but it was at a time when it was quieter. Otherwise good prices and nice food.

What a nice little gem this place is. The restaurant was busy but staff were always on hand for any request. The food was really delicious. Both dosas and accompanying sauces and lentils were wonderful. I also enjoyed a very tasty pudding afterwards. The only fail was the masala tea. Not the best I've ever had. A little too strong, lacking any masala and not sweet enough. Miles away from Dishoom's chai to die for. Otherwise, perfect dining experience. The bill was a surprise. Meals for two, drinks and pudding came to £20. I was expecting to pay much more considering how stuffed we were. I would happily eat here again.

Best place for south Indian food whenever I crave for it. I visited there with my friend and she loved paneer butter cheese dosa with Masala chai which was OK not too bad. But my 👍 up for paneer butter cheese dogs along with flooda. Must visit this place. Great ambience 😊

Well the Food was good! I had North Indian Thali, which was delicious and a filling meal! But to be honest I felt a bit unwelcomed. No one came to me to provide the Menu.Ideally they should come as soon as a new guest / customer comes. After waiting for a while(around 7-8 minutes), I had to ask myself for the Menu. The Service was extremely slow with regards to time. Will think of coming to the restaurant at Ilford hereafter.P. S. - Giving respect to the British Guests in obviously appreciated, but giving the same amount of Respect to the people of your own country is somewhat we as 'Indians' have the right to expect.Peace!

My first visit to the branch at Ilford and I came out impressed!! This rarely happens with me after dining at Indian restaurants in England. But this is a rare gem which I would love to go back to again and again. We went here two days in a row back-to-back and even did a takeaway to bring back home and had it the next day. The food quality and taste is amazing and something I have never tasted at any South Indian eatery before. Their dosa's, medu vada, idly and parotta's are what we had on repeat on both days and masala tea. Their chutneys are delicious and tasty unlike some restaurants here which serve you chutneys out of a jar or diluted versions. We even asked for additional chutneys and sambhar which was happily served at no extra cost. Their chutneys and sambhar is one of the best around in London I dare say. I can't wait to go back there again and try their other dishes this time.

Authentic South Indian vegetarian & vegan cuisine at its finest; a wide variety of dosas is just 1 part of the extensive menu, the atmosphere is bustling and the service is great. Great value for money.

Went to our favourite vegetarian restaurant for a quick lunch. You definitely dont miss meat because each and everything is bursting with flavours. They offer indo chinese dishes and their traditional south indian dishes. For starters we got paneer 65. Crispy, cheesy and spicy..absolutely divine!Their south indian thali meal is their best selling main. It has many vegetable curries, lentils, rasam, sambhar, crispy vegetables and a sweet dish. And the best part is some curries are different every time so it is always a pleasant surprise.I absolutely love their kara masal a dosa filled with spicy potato. Dosa is paper thin crispy and fluffy at the same time. Hakka noodles were flavourful..Also I usually get their melt in the mouth chocolate barfi.Going here for few years now and it never disappoints.
