I have been going there off and on for over twenty years, was mainly a builders cafe, but it has cleverly evolved, now has extra seating outside, and now, popular with the young families that have moved into the area. Also Dog friendly.

Fantastic. Vegan/veggie brunch was superb. Make sure you get a portion of "bubble". A great fry up, but not greasy. The staff were delightful. Couldn't do enough to help. A hidden gem of a cafe in Wanstead.

Best English breakfast. Amazing pies, roasts, English classics. Big portions and fresh produce. Always extremely friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere and super cheap. Highly recommended on all counts.

A group of us had a very pleasant Christmas dinner in a cosy, safe environment. Good food and lovely staff. Would recommend.

The Bungalow Cafe is always busy but you will find yourself quickly seated and never waiting long for the food to come out piping hot. The full English (workman's Breakfast) is simple but covers everything you need. The staff are extremely polite and courteous and happy for me to swap out bread for fluffy hash browns.I particularly enjoy sitting outside in the newly refurbished decking area which offers shelter yet the warmth or breeze of outdoors.

Came with my son today (13.09.21) for a coffee, a bite to eat & a catch up before he has to board a plane bound for New York. The coffee presentation was emmaculate and the way that the girl in charge handled a customer's bad & disruptive behaviour was commendable!! Even a fellow customer spoke up against the disruptive customer & praised the girl who was in charge at the way she handled the situation and defused it. Suffice to say that I will come again for the staff friendliness and the superb coffees. Overall, a good place to come for a fab coffee and the owners ought to be proud to have Jade in charge of the Bungalow Cafe as she has done a superb job at representing the Bungalow Cafe!!Regards Avy

Well heard about this place for years but never been but decided to go today after hard days work. So the food is excellent as cafes go- the bacon and sausages were quality eggs were perfect and bead nice, however I ordered an extra sausage at time of order and it was not on the plate, plus there were about 7-8 small mushrooms as well :(I then ordered the dessert apple crumble with custard which was excellent however too much crumble and not enough apples and not a lot of custard for the price you pay. I will come again but with no errors hopefully and then I will give the extra star!👍🏻
