Typical Wetherspoon pub. Good choice of beer and food at reasonable prices. Plenty of space and for once friendly talkative customers!

We're regulars in this pub, what's disappointing is that today at 13:30 we ordered a Small Vegetarian all-day brunch, 20 mins later it came but it's missing baked beans. So, we have asked this guy working upstairs and he said we're no longer serving bfast. But this is an all day brunch meal, and when we asked again he said yesterday was a game day so the ingredients must be missing. Why would you serve something thinking a customer will just be fine with missing one ingredient just cus you don't have it? Without having the decency to ask if that's fine?

Nice atmosphere good service BUT for the second time on a Friday no fish and chips 😕 why on a Friday do you not have the nations favourite 🤔 BUT great range of real ale 🍺 thanks

·

Lovely place with great food and atmosphere, the staff are amazing and there's even a beautiful little beer garden with a pond in the middle. Family friendly and the staff are so helpful and polite. I love this place.

Is not a bad place to spend a couple of hours with friends or family.Friendly staff. Clean.Food, usual deashis you would aspect from any Watherspouns kitchen. The drinks are half of the price you get charged in ather places in the area.I would recommend.Ideal place to have a couple of prints.

Friendly. busy Weatherspoons pub opposite Wanstead Tube. Good service, competitively priced drinks and tasty food. Our sirloin steaks were delicious and tender.

This is not a review for the George because they were appalling, Ella R was amazing, give that girl a raise, I ordered chips beans and sausages, they gave me a plate of chips and sauages...DRY I ask for the beans and they said it didn't come with beans, which it did as stated on the menu.i ordered beans 3 Times and got nothing, but then...Ella, amazing Ella R. She got my beans and she needs to be running the place

A large traditional mahogany and etched glass pub that has become a Spoon's. Wide selection of real ale and with the usual food offerings. There is an upstairs portion with it's down bar but selection more limited. Very well presented.

We came here for breakfast, and came back for dinner the same day. Great value for the money spent! Spacious area, good choices of breakfasts, definitely recommend this place!

Been living next door for year and half now and (suitably embarrassed) haven't visited till today morning for a breakfast. What an amazing place, staff is polite and humble, food is soulful and ambience is just right.... overall highly recommended and must visit place if you are in the area. The place is always buzzing and cheerful. It's one of the most popular placed in wanstead village area. The large breakfast was filling and refreshing....must visit place for pub food. Please see some of the pictures to find out what's on the menu and little about the place.
