Next time I came back he recognised me and already showed me my options. He is very kind and respects vegetarian lifestyle, outstanding attitude and nice chef

We go to the carvery every Sunday at 7pm & I take my mum and dad & it’s the highlight of our week, they REALLY look forward to it! The staff are amazing, especially the waitresses they really look after us. I’d like to give special thanks to massi the chef, who is very friendly ;) kind and pleasant. We can never fault the food, the flavours dance in your mouth! I’d like to say a big thank you & I’ll look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Much better than the last visit, I haven't been in this branch of Toby carvery for 3 years because the food that was served was so bad. Happy to log a new view, excellent service, excellent food and no more frozen roast potatoes. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

It is a great cafe. The team is friendly and cares about each client. The quality and taste of their food are excellent. In addition, the atmosphere in the restaurant is homely and relaxing. Highly recommend it to all visitors to this city.

I went to this Carvery on a Sunday lunch time with my partner. It wasn't too busy and fortunately, because we'd booked, we didn't have to wait to be seated.The reason for this review is for a lady who waited on us named Auriel. Auriel's service was fantastic. She was kind, chatty but polite, friendly but professional, welcoming but not over the top. She was this way with every customer. I cannot sing her praises enough. This lady is the epitome of ideal customer service.

Took my elderly mother in law as she was so looking forward to a carvery, worse mistake ever. Firstly i complained about how filthy the plates were to be told by the chef that they were all like that, it was the dishwasher. They must have been so old. The meats were so dry and the veg was barely lukewarm, with almost cold gravy. Again complained and was told, we can stick it in the microwave.I can now understand why the place was so empty on a Friday night.Avoid this place

Can be busy come weekend as most people around Woodford area come to this spot for meals, drinks and there's outside settings for social gathering which is cool during this Pandemic period.As for my experience I have nothing to complain about. Staff are highly reliable and responsive. Prices are moderate compare to the level of service I got.For those with Electric Vehicles there's a rapid 50kw charging point to use while you social.Highly recommended

The atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing. The food was ok. I was surprised to find there is vegan option. The vegan spicy tart was delicious. The cooked vegetables are ok. The service is brilliant as well. Very friendly staff. I would go again.

A family friendly place, polite, attentive and friendly staff, we love it here, it's been a venue for a number of our occasions in the last 20+ plus years, its an all weather venue, never ceases to cheer us up.

It's our local Toby and it never fails to please. It was my husbands birthday celebration and we had two grandchildren with us, who were made very welcome. The food as always was beautifully cooked. There was a selection of five vegetables plus potatoes cooked three different ways. Excellent.
