Valentines Park Cafe in Redbridge

Ive always had a good experience here. The ladies have been friendly enough and don’t discriminate unlike the Gardener's Cottage Cafe.I usually go for chips and ice cream - safe options!There was a customer from the ethnic majority in there on my last visit who was with his family. He constantly kept saying things like “it’s not the same round here anymore” and kept looking at people weirdly. He asked one of the staff members if “people round here” say their please and thank yous. He then went on to point and laugh at a customer wearing a turban. Put me right off and I felt awkward. He should perhaps go somewhere deep into Essex or someplace else next time if he’s reading this.

We popped in to warm up with a sausage sarnie each, unfortunately they don't sell fried onions and they had no dairy free spread but it was ok I used tomato ketchup instead. The staff were nice, the cafe was clean.

Loved the food we had. Freshly cooked and lovely staff. Loved the cheesy chips worth coming back for.

Lovely place to have something to eat but also to just have a takeaway icecream.However, I am still not sure about their opening times. On the website says 10am but went around after that time and was still closed.

Valentines Park is by far the most beautiful park to visit in East London.Did not actually go into the cafe, I queued outside for the ice cream. Had a twin cone: soft ice cream with a flake; and a scoop of strawberry, really tasty and refreshing.My family enjoyed the mint choc chip, mango and lemon sorbet flavours, all of which were of brilliant quality.The prices hurt a little but almost everything has increased in price, and the experience was still great.

Staff were lovely and I was actually shocked as the menu was massive had so much you can order from and prices are good. Lovely def go there again

Great choice of food, had a burger and chips, well presented and tasty. The cafe was very clean, staff friendly.

Genuinely one of the best English Breakfasts I've had for such an amazing price. Also, when I had waited for a very long time, and the staff realised I didn't get my food yet, they gave me extras. The cheesy chips are also very good and are what they should be, flexible to eat with whatever you put/eat them with. Will definitely be going here again in the future

This place has gotten better over time there prices are good and they offer a halal menu they where busy on my visit but still felt I was served well my order didn't take long to come out either. Overall a good experience.
