A lot of great options for vegetarians. I recommend chilli mogo and schezwan Aburgine. My most favourite Chinese restaurant. Love it

Rather than service they are more crazy about the money, I’ve been went so many times just only for their foods taste , there is no complaints aBout the food, but the service wise they are not good, food prices even too high now. Last time they gave me the wrong dish, I put the food aside , I told them it’s wrong dish they took the dish but they chargeD me . I don’t know then whaTs the point to tell them it’s wrong dish & they took it & charged me for the food..

We had ordered from Yen Lin previous ( about 3 months ago) food was delicious and by far one of the best Chinese foods I have tasted around this area. So we decided to order last week. Food was terrible, we ordered special fried rice and Singapore noodles with some curries. Special fried rice had so much coriander leaves mixed in, it was closed to a biryani 🤨 . The Singapore noodles was burnet during the mixing of veg they had decided to add that in too. Both dishes were dry and tasted nothing like Chinese. Kung pao chicken was a joke, clearly I'd say the chef has not even seen a picture of the dish. Worst £60 take away ever. Will not be returning again. Also would like to mention it's over priced for tasteless food.

I mean I can't believe the reviews... clearly people don't know their food. This place is at best average. Food is average..service average. The food I ordered was pretty bland...first time in a Chinese restaurant I had to rely on salt and soy sauce to power the meal 🤣🤣 the chicken satay was a joke.. everything well overpriced for very average quality food...come on people learn about your food 😂😂

I am editing my original review (below) to…Yen Lin staff and management do not value their customers. Our group frequently dines at Yen Lin, and have been for many years! To be told a dessert cannot be changed or refunded after receiving a £4+ icy block of fruit because the company will be “losing money”…baffling!Any good restaurant knows the basic principle that the customer comes first…Yen Lin have lost their loyal customers over £4 from a £200 bill!“My favourite Indian-Chinese restaurant! Best plum sauce, spring roll, Hakka noodles, pineapple ice-cream and paneer!” (2021)

The food was average. The place was over crowded which is a surprise given the food. The service was terrible and the price wasn’t very pocket friendly. We had to try it once as it came highly recommended, however, I can safely say that we have tried majority of the dishes during our visit and won’t be returning given the entire experience.

Loved the food, been here in 2019 and it didn't disappoint and again in Jan 2022, still great food! Be back again in August 2022

Heard so many great things about this little niche Chinese restaurant close to Goodmayes Station for a number of years and took my family to visit there.Everything on the menu was halal and they don't serve pork anymore although they do serve alcohol on the premises.I ordered the Yen Lin Chicken Soup 🍲 as starter and that was absolutely devine. I've been told the Hot & Sour Soup is an excellent choice and will definitely think about ordering this for next time.I ordered the Manchurian Chicken with gravy along with the Manchurian Mixed Special Fried Rice which included beef, chicken and prawn which was absolutely delicious and not greasy at all. The Garlic Chilli Chicken was another great choice and can definitely taste the flavours. We also ordered the Manchurian Chicken Chow Mein and that was one of the best Chow Mein I've ever had and again not greasy at all.Food is pricey but definitely worth paying extra for the quality. The staff were excellent and were very efficient and brought out all the food barely five mins after ordering and we went just after they opened at 5.30pm!Would definitely most likely to visit and also order takeaway for collection. Wish they delivered takeaway but understand if they don't need the likes of JustEat or Uber Eats as even when we were dining, the amount of people coming in to collect their takeaway were high!

Food is really goodRestaurant needs to work on ambience and tables are too close to each other. Feels really congested. Staff is really pushy - they expect you to order higher value dishes and dont serve you good if you have order like 4 to 5 dishes for 2 people. Which I guess is enough and anyhow it's the customer's choice what they want to order

Pretty good food! Good service. Would definitely go again. It's not the fanciest or prettiest place but good food is good food.Ordered extra spicy for some of the dishes and yep, made me sweat! Totally worth it if it's your thing. I would avoid the saucy dishes. Just my opinion. The normal dry, crispy stuff is brilliant ! Singapore noodles and Manchurian fried chicken rice is also amazing!
