Beautiful pub in Richmond, can’t wait to come back and try the amazing looking food!Friendly and efficient staff. The bar man Dan, makes a cracking a cracking Bloody Mary. Easy on the eye too 😄❤️✨

We enjoyed a relaxing and delicious mid-afternoon drink in this warm and inviting pub. The owners are not only hospitable and friendly, but we learned that they are also incredibly generous to the homeless community in their neighbourhood. We highly recommend a visit to The Angel and Crown when you are in the Richmond area.

It’s Wednesday evening 5pm ish.. I can’t be bothered to cook, I order the Pork belly…. Within half an hour it arrived at my table… a ring of pork belly a-top of shredded cabbage and creamy mash potato… with a light gravy moat…. The most wonderful pork with crispy crackling and beautifully seasoned…. What a midweek treat… 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 thank you 🏆03/04/22Popped in to the A&C Sunday lunchtime… my friend ordered the beef roast and I wanted to see if the continuity of the roast pork would stand up? I was not disappointed…. Absolutely perfect… really! Perfect! 10/10.The service is the best balance of friendly coupled with efficiency. Great atmosphere with a friendly, comfortable vibe…

Current 4.4 rating is not accurate. Came here for lunch last week on a rare sunny day.Staff were very friendly. However, food was poor. We got two burgers £15 each:The chips were clearly cooked in really old oil. The beef patty was over cooked and the brioche bun was flat and soggy.Worst of all, the ketchup and mayonnaise were brought out in jars with a spoon in it. I couldn’t be sure other customers hadn’t dipped a chip in it. It seemed really unhygienic.Overall a poor meal that ruined an otherwise lovely day.

Very welcoming to all, Lovely staff. Had a delicious fish in batter, potatoe wedges, peas and tartar sauce 😋 Thanks

I went with my parents in here, and honestly it was a disaster. We ordered fish and chips, pork belly and hummus as a starter. Hummus wasn't homemade at all, but okay... It took them forever to heat a pita bread up and put the hummus in a pot to serve it. And then with the mains... Breaded fish, not made with the proper butter and chips with skin on and soil on them, not proper washed. The pork belly was kind of okay. The girl that welcomed us was nice and she had the detail of discounting the starter and half pint from the bill. Quite disappointing because the pub was okay and the stuff friendly. Not coming back or recommending it, but thanks for understanding and giving us away some of the stuff

Delicious food, ingredients of a very good quality. On the Sunday menu they even had tapas when I went. Don't expect the price of Wetherspoons though, you pay the quality but especially the location, very central and close to the river front. Me and my family bumped here by chance, but if I have to be honest, I would come back again and avoid the massive crowd on the other pubs by the river. The place is cosy and welcoming. The staff managed to find us a table but I recommend you to book in advance cause it seems you may not find a space otherwise (we didn't know that of course)

An absolute gem of a pub. A very homely atmosphere and very near to Richmond Tube. There is an interesting selection of loose nuts (cashew, pistachio etc) in jars that can be purchased too. An excellent pint of pride, didn't dine there but will do in the future.

Lovely place down a side street...Epic transport fail brought us to this place. We were able to see the game we couldn't get to and enjoyed it so much we stayed for the Sunday roast menu.Delightful and lovely beers and wines to compliment the menu.If you are ever at a loose end in Richmond, try it for yourself!
