Where else locally can you find homemade Merguez sausages, babaganoush, flat bread, apple cake? A real treat and a passionate owner. Food was delicious, delivered with care and attention.

Wow what a place! Popped I'm here for lunch and had the lamb tagine... it was excellent! The owner and chef Abdul was so nice, supplied not only 1st class food but also great conversation about the recipes and history of what inspired him to cook and it showed how much he cared for the food. We even got to taste some of his own baklava which were also delicious 😋 We will be back !!

My family and I were welcomed and cooked a delicious meal by Abdul (owner and chef).I especially enjoyed the marinated lamb dish which was cooked with vegetables to perfection. We were served by Sevgi (with a beautiful smile) and both her and Abdul made us all feel special:) Thank you!

The food is excellent and they have big servings. We had the Lamb tagine, chicken shawarma and hummus. We only ordered the hummus but he gave us extra baba ganoush and falafel with it. The service is really good too. Will definitely come back.

On that day, I wandered unknowingly beyond the same old food chains in the hope to find something new/authentic. And there she was. Alhambra (which I would later find out it had actually been there for 30 years!).Quality food. Friendly service from a passionate owner who cares about what he dishes up and nicely plated. Cracking.

I had some time to kill this morning as I dropped my daughter to a birthday party locally. So I was looking for somewhere I could sit down have a quick coffee and work on my MacBook for an hour or so.I stumbled across this lovely restaurant called Alhambra. Initially I was just going to have a coffee but decided to have a little breakfast as well. The restauranteur made me a lovely poached egg and avocado, with some tomato and lemon, which was beautifully presented, seasoned to perfection and a very polite and professional service. The place was also very clean and well organised with a lovely atmosphere. The chef made me feel very welcome and was courteous.I’m very glad that I stumbled across this place because I will be taking my wife and daughter there for a meal.I know it was just a very simple breakfast I had, but the way someone makes an egg can tell you a lot.Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere discreet, quiet and most importantly delicious food!

Charming Moroccan restaurant. Love the fresh mint tea and desserts. Non Moroccan food as well, and outside tables in this lovely part of Richmond. Do visit the very nearby children's bookshop the Alligator's Mouth.

I had a wonderful experience at Alhambra restaurant. The lamb tagine was so good! Everything is homemade and their fresh olive bread with butter is so good. The staff was very nice and extremely accommodating. I look forward to going back.

A fantastic hidden gem in Richmond. Despite Alhambra being located on the high street down a a small side road, I had never come across it. We ordered the lamb tagine and the shakshuka. Both were generously portioned, the lamb was perfectly cooked with a rich sauce and mixture of vegetables while the Shakshuka was hearty and filling. The owner was very welcoming and courteous, telling about the restaurants history and his passion for food. Recommended and will be back to sample more from the menu.

Absolutely love the mint leaves tea served in an authentic Moroccan copper pot under a beautiful foreign song, I also like the full English breakfast, the price is very reasonable indeed, the restaurant has two levels and looks very clean quite pretty and romantic.
