Was in london for a special day and on the way back we ve decided to eat pizza Found this great place where every single item ordered was delicious and generous. Friendly authentic Italian restaurant with an x factor. Definitely would come back.

Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! Fruit juices were fresh, food was delicious (especially the vongole) Great place for dinner.

·

Lovely little authentic Italian. It was previously located near Richmond cinema. Great friendly service and a good selection of dishes all at quite reasonable prices.

Very disappointed with the experience. This was our first time at Caffè Mamma. We had made reservations and when we arrived we were greeted by a lovely waitress Isabella. We asked if we could be seated at one of the 4 seat tables at the side of the restaurant because we didn't feel comfortable in the centre and the 4 seater table was very cramped and tight for 4 adults. She politely said sure and took as to the table on the side. Suddenly another host by the name of Joseph shouted across the restaurant at Isabella and told her to give us the small table in the middle. I addressed Joseph and asked if we could please sit at the side. Without allowing me to finish my sentence he said 'No, No, No, go to the middle!' Then he shouted at Isabella for taking us to the other table. I felt so sorry for her as she was clearly very embarrassed. I appreciate there may have been a reason we could not sit on the side table but there is a way to politely communicate that to customers rather than insulting them and shouting in a rude manner. Anyone who speaks in that way to customers and staff is disgraceful. We reluctantly decided to stay and eat there. The food was overpriced and average. Definitely not restaurant quality. Isabella's service was excellent and that's why I've given 2 stars otherwise should be zero. Isabella should work somewhere where they respect staff and customers and value good service! Awful experience!

Best authentic Italian pizza I had in the UK. Interior is decorated very traditionally. Definitely recommend for lovers of real Italian food and Italian atmosphere.

My goodness, the food here is devine!Atmosphere - cute, could be romantic if you want it to be. There is an 'Italian home' look and feel to the place, with clothes hanging above you. Unusual, but unique. My OCD just hopes dust from the clothes don't fall on the food. The type of customers we saw whilst we were there consisted of couples and families, so expect a child or two making some noise. It wasn't to the point of being disturbing.Food - scrumptious! We ordered a starter, which was prawns in a tomato sauce with bread. I could've eaten that all night, so delicious. I then ordered a pasta with basil and cod, this isn't the actual name of the meal but that's what it consisted of. It was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the lobster, she is a chef and rated it quite high, with the only complaint being that the lobster was a tad over cooked. We also tried their best wine, not my favourite, it was a little watery. The water is bottled spring water. The chilli oil is a huge glass with a mixture of peppers in oil, felt very home made, adding to the atmosphere.Service - great. The lady serving us was good, not going above and beyond but at the same time didn't need to. She was calm and helped with any info we required. The food arrived in good time too, I'd say it took about 10-15mins to arrive.I'll definitely be returning to this lovely place. 100% recommend it.

This Italian was full. The food was nice. The only downfall was the calamari was under cooked. I had a pink gin, too much ice in it. Staff were attentive. We had a birthday party. All needs were catered for. No parking, as it on the main road.

We just stopped by for pizza and boy was it good. Fresh ingredients and the finest cheese. All served in a fine dining experience. Definitely a place to go back to. Prices are moderate considering what you are getting.

·

Loved it. Service is excellent and really attentive, but not at all intrusive. The food was enjoyed, although we only had mains due to time pressures. I'd love to have stayed longer as it's a really beautiful place to stop for dinner (we had a 6yo with us). We look forward to returning.

Classic Italian ambiance with authentic Italian food served from the heart. We were offered a set menu of 5 starters and 5 mains and we decided to go for minestrone soup, lamb and tiramisu.Food was superbly cooked and portions are generous sized.Highly recommended restaurant for service and food.
