Chow Chow in Richmond upon Thames

First everything was very clean.Second the lovely lady who served us was so friendly, she alone would make me go back again.Then the food was fresh and delish. Really great chinese I had Laska I was very satisfied. Yay

Great food. Not heavy like normal Chinese, with sticky gunky sauces. Here the sauces are light and fresh. In fact at Chow Chow"s their food is very light and far from being heavy. Great for quick lunches.

Visited for the first time, won't be the last. Food was very fresh and tasty, my husband has an allergy to MSG, no problems with that here.

Great food and a pleasure to eat or enjoy as a take away. Our boys 9 @ 11 love going to eat and watch the food being cooked . A must if you are in Hampton Hill

It is a small restaurant. The decoration is basic but the place is clean and well organised. They were very accommodating and rearranged the furniture for us - a group of 15+ people. The menu is simple and we didn't have to wait too long for the food to be served despite the group size. I had sea weed for starters, it was good. My main course was a vegetarian Green curry. It was a bit disappointing - edible but tasted nothing like a green curry I have ever had before. But then it is not a Thai restaurant. Others seemed to be happy with their food.

Lovely food, great service, amazing family run business - well worth a visit. Great take-away service as well.

For a small place the service is always great, been here many times.No license, so bring your own wine/beer.Food is always freshly prepared and very tasty.

If you dare to venture into Chow Chow I'd strongly recommend not ordering a Laksa. I was mortified when confronted with a bowl of curry flavoured Pot Noodle with the viscosity of a smoker lung (isn't this supposed to be a soup??). Coconut milk? NO NEED! Let's just empty the contents of a few pencil erasers into the broth and call it tofu... If you are an 80+ old white person with pickled tastebuds, this place is perfect for you. For anyone else, I'd strongly recommend you give this place the widest of births possible.On the plus side, the mystery £2.50 beer was a delight...
