Dragon Inn in Richmond upon Thames

I may be biased as I've been going here for 33 years. However the consistency of both service and quality of food is difficult to beat . Noticeably more expensive, but you'll never walk away disappointed. Eddie and his staff keep the place running smoothly even on the busiest of evenings.

As always a first class meal! We ordered a takeaway through Deliveroo and had a long wait time due to it being a busy Saturday night. After I ordered, the restaurant called to say they could prepare the food sooner than the Deliveroo app advised and managed to get Deliveroo to bring it forward. Not only did the restaurant call to ask if this was what we wanted but called again to re-confirm the new delivery time themselves. They recognise a regular customer and we appreciate that. This is why we come back again and again. Well done Eddie and the Dragon Inn team- great service, delicious food!

First visit with family and a friend. Very happy with both the food quality and service. Waiting times for food preparation very reasonable. The ambience music very nice, quiet and relaxing - good for eating, digestion and not hindering the conversations between us. Looking forwards for our next visit!

Lovely restaurant , owner managed and run , Eddie is a great host and makes sure the personal touch that so many restaurants fail to achieve is actually achieved.Excellent service , excellent standard of food , highly recommended..

As always what an amazing meal . We love the family that run this restaurant they make you feel so welcome and always accommodate to our every needs . They really make you feel so relaxed all the staff do . If you want a special place to go with guaranteed tasty food go to the Dragon inn as there really is no place like it for its food and hospitality. Les and Michelle West

Portions are small. Takeaway was pre packaged and not tasty.I supposed that restaurant will send fresh meal.Probably the meal includes preservatives for increase shelve life.If i want expensive pre packaged food, there is many alternatives even includes in supermarkets or fast food chains.It was disappointment..Thank you.

Absolutely delicious, they even gave my daughter and I prawns crackers.I am really happy to taste this place

I did not like the foods at all. We ordered some soups and one pork item. Soups were full of tofu and very little amount of chicken. For the pork item it was same, full of onions amd capsicums. Literally you can count the numbers of shredded pork pieces. I was totally disappointed with the food. Expected much better with this price.

As ever does the Dragon Inn is a Chineese restaurant like no other! delicious take away tonight all tasting so good and beautifully presented and freshly cooked. Always tastes exceptional among two of the best dishes the chicken Peking with a delicious sauce packed separately and wonderful crispy duck. Thank you Eddie just wonderfulBoo and James Good

It's nice to go to a restaurant where they fill up your water glass when you're close to finishing and place your serviette on your lap. The Dragon Inn is on the prices side compared to other Chinese restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and to book for popular evenings (Friday night etc) we ordered so many delicious starters we didn't get to a main course. Will try again next time.
