Very nice experience overall. I went with a few friends and we all ordered different dishes. We ordered a mix of starters and mains that we wanted to be served at the same time. There was a misunderstanding and the starters came first. The staff was extremely nice and advised us immediately, making sure we would get the mains as soon as possible. We did not mind the small mistake because it was handled in a very nice manner. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend it.Prices are reasonable.

Excellent quality food that is value for money. Waiting staff perhaps a little inexperienced but they will learn. Restaurant a bit noisy when it fills up. There are better Cotes in London but this one is just below the very high standards that cote operates at. Would still recommend if you are in the Richmond area.

Thank you so much to Lisa lovely Lisa for making my night with her sweet smile and amazing service tonight, for me that’s what it matters, her colleagues and manager didn’t stay behind, they also stay on top of things always working as a team to make everything works. Big hugs to you all

Understaffed. 40 minutes later we still didn't have our starters. We cancelled them. Then came the food. Amazing preservation, but tiny tiny portions. I literally had less than 100g of monkfish on my plate. The staff was nice. The beers were warm. Not coming back again. Or any other Cote. Be prepared: the place is really noisy as well. Not your faux-fancy restaurant. They did offered us the dessert though :) then again, amazing staff. Always running and smiling.

We went here for my father’s birthday dinner and it was wonderful! The food was great and the staff were attentive, friendly and very efficient! A special shout out to Caitlin who had one of her first shifts! Thank you all for making this special occasion even more special!

They had a really reasonably priced two course menu option. The food was really good and we had a great time. It was really busy when we went, but our waitress did a good job of balancing multiple tables.

Place was a chaos when I visited it. The waiter spilled wine on me firstly, didn't get me any napkins to clean up. Didn't clean my seat or table. The food was average. I had visited the one in Hampstead and their food was amazing there we went to the Richmond one. My steak was well down, I asked for medium rare. The lamb chops were chewy and had no meat on them, just fat. We were not served for good 20 mins. Not gonna go there again. It looked like game of thrones on there. Spilling and breaking everything. The workers also looked very unhappy and upset.

I've been going to Richmond Cote for 15+ years, always good standard and reasonably priced. We went for lunch today and the beetroot salad starter is new on the menu and really fabulous flavours. That said, I didn't taste the goat cheese curd and there could've been a few more hazelnuts hence 4 stars. On the whole, a trusted favourite.

We had an excellent dinner here! Delicious food with a good gluten free menu and gluten free flags on the GF plates so you know they are actually gluten free :) They staff were very friendly and were wearing masks to keep people safe which was very nice to see. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived dripping from the torrentia rain, a couple of drowned rats in search of a cosy nest in which to warm up and while away the morning. It was a quarter of an hour before opening time, yet the lady wiping tables and distributing menu cards was unperturbed. Of course we could have that nice table by the window, of course we wouldn't be in the way.A couple of hours on and the staff seemed just as happy to have us there, albeit now somewhat dryer, and replete with hot drinks and tasty breakfast. For me, gorgeous French toast with fruit compote, and for my Mum a pot of Earl Grey and rather innovative quinoa Grenola. The restaurant was far from full but somehow wasn't lacking in atmosphere, and our position at the front provided a grandstand view of the street outside, enabling us to plan our escape between the regular showers.Cote is so consistent. Reliably warm and friendly service, reliably interesting, quality food. A reliably pleasant place to spend time and relax. A chain which somehow balances familiarity with personal service and individual initiative. Long may it last.
