Golden Carp fish and chips in Richmond upon Thames

Lovely food, well priced and excellent portion sizes

Best fish 'n' chips I ever ate. Used to eat there regularly: now I moved away, and still go back there if I want good fisn 'n' chips! Absolutely delicious.

Disappointingly are they normally pretty good. This time however, the fish was very greasy.

Really fresh & delicious cod. The Haddock and Scampi were great too. Chips were brilliant as well. Staff too are very cheerful and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful fish and chips, fish was beautifully cooked and they are so generous with the chips. Best of all,they use paper containers and paper bags. No plastics—well done to them for helping to reduce plastic waste.

The chips were hard, not crunchy at all. The batter on the fish was decent but the fish was mushy, like a bad fish cake. Probably one of the worst fish and chip meals we’ve ordered, like a school dinner, avoid!

Cod was thick with grease. My son was sick. I felt sick.. sometimes nice. But not today.

Ordered 2 Large Cod & 1 Regular Cod with regular chips. They where good portions, fish was crispy & tasty. Chips where good quality aswell. Highly reccomened them and will defiently be going again.There is parking on the local road outside the shop. Cheerful a d good customer given also.

Very good fish and chips. Portion sizes are good and not too expensive.
