Hampton Spice in Richmond upon Thames

Food arrived warm, not surprising when the delivery driver was outside in his car for 10mins talking to someone. The chicken was dry and tasted recooked. The quality of the food and service has gone down. Will not be ordering from there again

Ordered from here this evening and very much enjoyed it. The tandoori mixed grill is larger than most and very flavourful. The special sauce chutney is definitely recommended and is unlike anything I've had at an Indian/Bengali restaurant before. The delivery driver was also a very pleasant lad. Overall pleasant experience!

Pleasant restaurant in a quieter part of Hampton, easy to park in road nearby. Service quick and efficient. The food was delicious with generous portions. Recommended.

Hands down the best Indian food around, I have tried a lot of the competition and Hampton Spice never fail to impress. I don't understand why people have left negative reviews. My own personal experience has been nothing but positive. The Lamb Nagar and Fish Bhuna are well executed and delicious dishes and I would highly recommend either. Self praise is no praise but I think I have a fairly refined palette and I would consider myself quite well educated when it comes to the cuisine of most cultures. Quite simply, the food I have received from Hampton Spice is delicious!......Lamb Nagar from Hampton Spice is my favourite dish from any Indian restaurant that I have tried and I have tried a lot.....give it a go!!

We ordered three different type of curry 🍛 and garlic rice and garlic nann bread. Onion Bhajaa is really great! Phall is extremely spicy fans it’s great tasty 😋 Dupiaza is very nice you should try it !!! I think we will order again !! Total all orders paid around £32 (Deliveroo on sale%)

On Sunday last week, we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Bombay Aloo and Nans from Hampton Spice through Uber Eats as they had "buy 1 and get 1 free" offer. Now these are bog standard menu items that any average Indian restaurant can't possibly go wrong with. But to our shock, the food was absolutely tasteless, bland, too oily, salty and very poorly packed. The gravy of both chicken curries was bright red (How ?) and tasted exactly the same and equally bad. The Bombay Aloo was slighly better but had no salt in it. We sent a review on Uber Eat in the feeble vain hope of an apology but the ower's shocking response was " Don't order from us".That should nicely summarise the attitude of the owners towards quality amd customer care.

There's plenty of competition for Indian restaurants in Hampton but we really like Hampton Spice, the food is good and the staff really friendly. The special offer deal (it's on the window at the front of the shop but around £12 for starter, main, rice and naan I think) make it really good value too.

The worst Indian food in my entire life ! Every single dish which I ordered tasted horrible. Looks like chef had no clue about Indian cousine. Waste of money. Would not recommend it to anyone !

We thought that we would try a different takeaway and going by the reviews this one looked like it fit the bill. Boy, were we ever wrong! Bland, tasteless and at varying temperatures. How exactly do you make tasteless special fried rice? I thought I had covid! I've had many an Indian takeaway but this one was by far the worst my family has ever had (we are all in agreement). I have never left a bad review before (for food anyway)! You might like it but we certainly didn't. It's like the Indian equivalent of Turtle Bay (pretend Caribbean food) but I never left them a bad review. Never again.

Amazing take away. We haven't been yet but the food is always amazing. We mentioned we are self isolating when we ordered so the delivery driver didn't get too close - they wrote "get well soon!" on the boxes which was so kind. Much appreciated, thank you!
