Lovely local Japanese restaurant, run by a Japanese family. There aren't many spaces inside, but that's so the chefs can make authentic Japanese food in a timely manner. Prices are a bit expensive, but then again so is every restaurant in Twickenham. If you're looking for a authentic Japanese food locally, then this is the place I'd recommend.

We have eaten in quite a few of Twickenham's restaurants and had some great food, but I think this has to be the best and certainly one of the best Japanese restaurants outside of Central London. Service is friendly and the dishes are brought out quickly and made with care. The menu offers not only sushi but a large range of authentic starters along with some noodle and bento box dishes. We decided to order several smaller dishes and a few sushi so that we could sample more of the menu. The octopus legs with seaweed were on par with those I've had in Japan, the chicken karage (lightly fried chicken) was superb and tender, the lightly fried tofu in broth was delicate and tasty and all of the sushi dishes were fresh and very very good indeed. To top it off, the pricing is very reasonable for the high level of quality. Will certainly return to try more. Highly recommended

Very nice little sushi restaurant. Tasty, reasonable prices. I love their green tea ice cream with red beans, tamago sushi and the ?oyako sushi!

First time I've been to a Japanese restaurant in England with Japanese people serving and preparing instead of Koreans. After living in Japan for 16 months can say this really captures the subtle essence of Japan! The Ikura was exceptional. [ Salmon roe ].The Maguro was not dyed red. [ Tuna ].The Tamago was not dry. [ Egg ].Domo arigato gozaimasu.

Visited for the very first time for a quick lunch and I must admit that the service was excellent and the food was delicious! I've ordered a bento box with chicken and sashimi and honestly, it tasted amazing. I really like this restaurant and the fact that it's not a chain makes it even more special. I shall be back for more, perhaps in the evening so that way I can take my time and try other things on the menu.

Fantastic place!! I had my anniversary dinner here. Great food - the best Japanese food in London. I have been a regular here since the very first day it opened. Thank you!

Very good food, friendly service. The only strange thing is the menu cards stuck to the walls.

Such lovely authentic food, excellent service too. Will be back for sure. The tora kara age is amazing and the tempera squid to name a few! The sashimi was incredible fresh.

I don't understand why the reviews are so good. Yes, staffs are friendly-ish. But the food was not good. Reasonably priced, but I rather pay more to have better sushi and sashimi. Avoid seabream soup, as well as mackerel. They were especially awful.
