La Dolce Vita in Richmond upon Thames

Nice family run business. The locals appear to like it; it was very busy for a Sunday evening.Excellent service, my wife ordered the seafood pasta "without prawns". When it arrived I asked about the absence of prawns as my wife is allergic.The waiter/owner asked us to wait one moment as he went to the kitchen. Upon return he removed the dish and apologized, there were no prawns but the sauce was a lobster bisque.The fault was ours, my wife didn't initially mention her allergy, just that she didn't want prawns. A replacement dish without prawns or bisque was served within 10 minutes.

Great little restaurant with lovely staff and delicious food. It's quite cosy. The service is fast. Especially the staff is so lovely. My wife complimented the olives in the starter plate. Then they gave some as present in a box as we leave. It's like a hidden gem from a remote and quite neighbourhood.Strongly recommended.

Lovely little find. Our waiter, Luca was very bubbly and friendly. The service was great, our food was delicious. We both had pizza and it was really lovely, thin and crispy with plenty of topping. The staff are very welcoming and attentive . I absolutely love Italian food and this place did not disappoint. Everything was perfectly cooked, had loads of flavour and was very reasonably priced. The vegan menu is excellent and portion sizes were generous too. I had the vegan gnocchi which was a nice treat as most gnocchi contains egg. Highly recommend for meat eaters, veggies and vegans alike.

I came for dinner on Mother’s Day, and I must say that I’m extremely impressed with La Dolce Vita. I had the mushroom spec, and my mum had the Picante pizza - both were incredibly tasty and I 100% recommend.The restaurant was very busy which is always a good sign, and it’s a lovely small authentically Italian run business. I’ll definitely be returning.Thank you!!

Absolutely beautiful place. Amazing food. Spagghetti was delicious. If you're a fan of Italian food, you should definitely stop by. Luca was the gentleman that served me and he was lovely. Very bubbly and was always happy to help. Definitely coming back.

What a great experience - food and service was impeccable. Visited Teddington and went here for a birthday celebration. Maurizio was lovely and looked after us - especially our kids. Highly recommend if your looking for an authentic family run restaurant.

This was my 2nd time visiting as its one of my best mate's restaurants, and he's a died in the wool foodie! This time I was here for his 50th birthday party. With around 20 of us there, adults and children both; the service never faltered.Not one person got the wrong or worse, cold food. Starters were brilliant and pleasingly (albeit rare), this Italian restaurant has a vegan menu. The portions are hearty and the food is great.Maurizio, the proprietor of this lovely place is warm, welcoming and does everything to support and meet your needs.Worth making the trip for.

First time we visited. There was a very warm welcome and service throughout. We had really great food. The wrapped scallops special was a particular highlight. Thank you Luca! We will be back again!
