Intimate family ran restaurant. The food is delicious! Had the prawns with chili sauce, coconut rice, tom yum soup, veg rolls and crab meat in cod skin (this one was special!). The host is so welcoming, I’ll definitely come back.

Excellent family run Thai restaurant. The menu is a conventional Thai one with few surprises, but the Montien offers good service and fresh well made food. It's always busy, which shows its popularity with locals in an area with a lot of restaurants.

The best Thai food in Richmond. All the dishes are made from scratch and are really tasty. Super efficient and friendly service. My husband and I have been coming here for several years.

A local and have been going there for a few years. Food has always been amazing.However I last went there a couple of weeks ago and the food was good, but not as good as usual, but the service was terrible and the hostess was rude . Very disappointing and will not be going there again especially when you get much better and more friendly service at other local places such as the Bingham Hotel (bar menu), Thai Square, Verdi and Cote Brasserie at similar prices.

Tasty but highly conventional Thai fare. Considering they have higher dining ambitions, with white tablecloths and an extensive wine list, that doesn't feel good enough – the menu needs to have a level of finesse that matches the surroundings.

We love this restaurant, we go every few weeks, the food is 5 star every time, the service is charming,What's lovely is this is a family run business, and nothing is too much trouble, they make you feel so welcome,Mum cooks, the daughter runs the service, Dad and the brother helps when busy, always a wonderful experience,We have been going for 2 years now and NEVER a disappointment.......Great value as well, lots if time is spent on preparation,A MUST
