Olympic Cinema in Richmond upon Thames

Love it here! So much history attached to this place. Really comfortable seats, great restaurant too. Would highly recommend seeing a film here.

Staff are friendly and the cinema is really good. Comfy seats and good movie snacks. Food in the restaurant is good.🙂🙂

We were looking for some brunch and this looked like a great option. The brunch menu was short but I figured, that means it should be focussed on being high quality. And to be fair to the kitchen, it was. Not mind-blowing, but really clean, non-greasy and tasty. The main breakfast was a little underwhelming to look at, but by the time I had eaten it I was impressed at how full I was.The issue for me wasn't really the food - it was the service. We hadn't booked so it felt like we were a total inconvenience. We were put on a table that I don't think was part of the main restaurant, tucked into a corner and surprisingly close to the table next to us. The waiter was the most serious human being I have ever met, totally humourless and after he gave us the drinks menu, didn't return for 15 minutes. He mumbled a lot so it meant I had to ask him to repeat himself, a process he clearly found tiresome.The same thing happened at the end. We asked for the bill three times from three different people before we finally got it (one guy forgot and ended up playing a game on his phone in the corner instead).The bill was brought over with the total already keyed into the machine, so without even getting to see the cost I had the card machine held up to my face. It was 35 quid for two breakfasts, a tea and a smoothie. Steep, but not a problem if you enjoy the whole thing I guess.I mentioned to the lady running the front of house that it wasn't nice to feel as though we weren't welcome, she wasn't too interested in my feedback and kinda shrugged. So all we have left is to tell other people that it really wasn't a nice experience. Especially given that so many other people have had a great time there. I guess if you book in or it's not busy, you will get treated better than we did.

I went to the Olympic to have a bite to eat and then see the James Bond film. The meal was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful with time to chat. Then the film, the seats were very comfy with a small table, the film which was brilliant. All in all a good day and will certainly be going again.

A great atmosphere to see the new James Bond film, "No Time to Die". Pre cinema drinks and cocktails 🍸 🍹🍺 A great selection of snack and popcorn 🥨🍫🍬🍭🍿 to enjoy during the movie. Would highly recommend with comfy seating and look forward to many more movies

Very overrated food. The cooked breakfast is poor (undercooked bacon, overcooked eggs), vegetarian dishes bland. Tried on a number of occasions but always a disappointment. Way too expensive for the quality - get a better chef! On the plus side, nice staff.

Pleasant lunch outside on warm sunny day. Service quick. Short wait for table for which we were put at served waiting tables. Staff very helpful and attentive. An excellent experience

Comfortable seats. Nice sound system. No red seats like on a pictures ;) Toilets clean and tidy. For a price I recommend that place. If order online popcorn and drinks delivered to your seat before move do net need to pick it up.
