Pier 1 in Richmond upon Thames

Really friendly service provided by a lovely lady. Food was nicely packed, as we were eating out. The meal was enjoyable and was a good sized portion. Would recommend.

I go there Every time I am in Richmond. It's the best fish and chips shop. Always fresh and a big portion plus their onion rings are incredible! And let's not forget about the very friendly and very helpful staff.

What a great find! Stumbled upon this restaurant when needing to kill some time. The service was great (i think her name was Victoria) served us and was so warm and friendly. Reasonably priced, fresh fish, tasty batter, good portions, good range of options, inviting decor but still calm and good energy. If you're in the area and looking for a certified good meal - here is a great option.

Some of the best fish and chips I've had in the last few years! The fish was cooked perfectly, with really crispy batter.More expensive to eat in the restaurant than takeaway, as you'd expect.

We stopped here for a bite to eat, and what a cracking spot to stumble across. Due to the sheer popularity of this place, we struggled to get seated - never a bad sign. We've been a long time customer of Pier 1, but when we ordered from Deliveroo the food came all squashed and the peas and sauce (pictured) had leaked EVERYWHERE onto all our food. They had also given us the wrong fish, I think we go someone else's order as the driver made a stop off before our delivery. Pier 1 please stop allowing your delivery drivers to make two deliveries in one go. We won't be ordering here again. Horrible service.

One of the few fish and chip shops that offer grilled fish on the menu. We had the fried fish (COD) and had it eat in. The serving is large ( I know I have repeated myself, but the serving is large) and was very good the batter on the fish was light and the chips were well cooked, one word of warning the servings are large. So it’s well worth a visit if you are in the area. The next time I am going to try the grilled Cod as it not something I have had at a fish and chip shop, and the friends I was with had it and it looked great. my only problem is that this Fish and Chip shop is 25 miles away and I am outside the delivery area......

Good fish and chips, a bit overpriced. The fish was fresh and nice, the chips were a bit soft for my taste. The minty pea mush was delicious!
