Pizza Express in Richmond upon Thames

I love pizza but after inviting my business associates here for a big celebration we were quite disappointed with the food’s quality the pizza was extremely overcooked-tasteless also they didn’t add enough meat maybe chef forgot I left early but would’ve loved to let the manager know my food was below the usual standard, hopefully you can take my review onboard I’ll be back soon when I’m in the area again, god bless.

Very nice place to eat, the food service is nice, the lighting is very nice too, not too bright, not too dim. They let my family charge two of their phones as well, kind members of staff there. I meanwhile kept my phone to myself. Not a bad experience at all. There wasn’t much time needed to queue up either, we came and there was a table available, it was a Sunday though, so could be packed on other days.

I have been at Pizza Express- Richmond yesterday. Great atmosphere and service, moreover excellent staff, but the most amazing person working here is IZA. She has incredible personality, positive and friendly attitude while communicating with customers. The pizza was delicious. I will definitely come back here!

My experience wasn’t great. Found a hair in my pizza which they replaced only to try and charge me for the replacement! The restaurant was busy and staff did handle the issue but wasn’t overly impressed.

Pizza Express is pizza express. The staff were nice. The food is what you'd expect. The pizza arrived to the table uncut. I don't know if this is standard. As German people eat pizza with a knife and fork as it's less messy. But it was cut quickly upon request.

A very good choice for dining out, with consistent service and attentive staff. Amidst all the employees absenteeism and struggling restaurants trying to keep a decent level of service, the team at PE Richmond have made our experience worth it.

Well, it turns out that not all Pizza Expresses are created equal - and this one FLIES above the rest! We were a large group - 10 adults and 10 kids having something to eat before Panto at Richmond Theatre, and were absolutely thrilled with the service and food we received.Rosa, our waitress, deserves the award for the waitress of the century - honestly, this woman is amazing! She insisted that the adults sit at a separate table to the kids - that we should enjoy our meal while she looked after the kids and made sure they were entertained and ate their food.The kitchen also managed to get our food out at lightening speed despite an absolutely packed restaurant when we realised that we were having such fun that we didn't realise so much time had passed. And the food was great!Pizza Express wasn't our first restaurant of choice - the pub we had booked cancelled our reservation the day before, so this reservation was a panic one ... things certainly do happen for a reason, because we would never have had this experience in a pub. We will DEFINITELY be back!THANK you to Rosa, to the lovely manager and to the great kitchen staff - utterly worthy of 5 stars!

Great food, and the service was fantastic. We were a drunken party of 5, and probably exasperating, but the server was funny, and she than happy to take our foolish pictures. A great night out, topped off with great service

Everything about this restaurant was amazing especially the service considering it was packed to the rafters. Highly recommend a visit can't fault anything about it. Thank you team you were brilliant.
