I had heard good things about this F&C shop, unfortunately it didn’t live up to the reputation. In the heat cabinet they had a couple of pies, a dish of saveloys and a few battered sausages; looked very much like they were at the end of the day although they are opened until 21:00.We ordered a chicken & mushroom pie and a steak pie with large chips. At this point I popped out to the car to get my thermal bag so I didn’t see them scoop the chips out onto the paper; if I had I would have asked for fresh chips.I got home, the pies were nice but you can’t really mess up heating up a Pukka pie. The chips on the other hand were obviously been around for a while and the portion contain lots of scraggy ends.We ate the pies and some of the chips but threw the rest away.We only went in as we had been in the area and was surprised to see a F&C shop open on a Sunday though I doubt I would give it another go.

Old school fish and chip diner. Very good fish and chips and sitting at a booth table no frills with a soft drink is a comforting change.

Fab freshly cooked fish and chips. Generous portions on the food. Only gripe: the cups of tea are tiny and come too long before the food! Please get some nice big mugs😀

Most famous for take outs but i love the fascinating dining area that looks like it hasn’t changed since the 60s. The menu is a classic too with pickled onions and curry sauce. Portions are big but if you have space there’s knickerbocker or apple pie for desert.

One of the best fish and chips in Kingston/Richmond area. Well worth the visit. The service was prompt and the staff are friendly. Seamless service over all.

The best fish and chips in West London. Delicious fresh haddock in light crispy batter cooked to order with plenty of hot old skool chip shop chips. we took it away and enjoyed it on a bench on Richmond green with a pint of London Pride from the Prince's Head pub. Absolute perfection. After a 2 hour drive up from the West Country to visit my sister not only was this good value for money but it warmed my soul and made a valued memory. Superb fish and chips and I've eaten them EVERYWHERE. I cannot wait to visit again soon. 100/10

Fish and chips so perfect it had all gone before I thought to put any ketchup on - I think that's a first for me and was a bit of a surprise in landlocked Richmond! Also very safe and well-organised premises Covid-wise. Friendly staff member a bit of a charmer too - wish I lived closer.....
